Honestly prefer a desperate Kate Stewart sleep-deprived, overworked, and suffering from PTSD and grief, with the entire world on her shoulders. Way more interesting character when she's blackmailing her therapist into giving her higher doses of meds, or threatening a jogger on a beach with a fucking GUN cause he littered.

Like it's not healthy at all for her, but I'm much more invested in her as a character when she's doing completely fucked up shit.

A LOT of heartbreaking moments happened in eps 3&4 but for me the most heartbreaking singular moment is the pain and confusion etched on Kate's face when she earnestly says she doesn't know how to switch off from being commander for even a moment.
