So about HomeSick ey? Well...
Lets start this slow....with an explanation,

HomeSick AU [Synopsis]
This AU talks about the mystery about Wally's home and it's strange lively-ness..or more or so how it affected our dearly beloved face of the franchise and his friends!
In the most normal of neighborhood, and the colorful bunch of characters as we know it, resides a humble abode named Home!
Also dubbed as Wally's house, it seems to be the only building in the whole neighborhood to seem to carry a sentience!
It is able to see, move, and talk (through several creative means)
And how come?
In this (non-canon to the original project) story, it is a something! A creechur...perhaps a someone, who makes this all possible!
A long long while ago, a little thing crawled out from the deep darkness beyond the forest, and seeped its way into the walls of our not-yet-Home's foundation!
For all intents and purposes I call the little creature "Hunter"!
You see, Hunter is somewhat of a weak entity, feeling off the vital energy that makes any sentient and aware living beings move! Somewhat akin to their soul!
And the more it feeds, the more it's power grows..
And the more you trash around to flee...the more energy you produce..the more plentiful you'll make it when you're dead...
Therefore, when it entered (not-yet) Home's foundation, it sprawled its entire self into the walls, crawling roots underneath Home to feed into the ground, and snatch anyone who would walk around just close enough to one it's roots that would grow ever so farther... and lay low...until it became strong enough

But as we slowly grew accustomed to the 8th neighbor....it was attacked
Some way, somehow, Home got badly injured, and Wally had to investigate what was wrong with his dearest friend, despite it protesting that they were fine several times..
And thats when he found a gaping wound, scraped wide open and spewing out a black, gooey substance, sprawling onto the carpet..
Wally took a look closer, touched it and....
...
He'd rather not remember...Hunter keeps reminding him everyday anyways...always battling for the front seat of his own mind...making him do things he tries so hard to fight off...
And unfortunately, morphed his body to accommodate the power Hunter accumulated over the years...and that thing...its not Home...Home was kind and patient....and this thing is the opposite of it...
Unfortunately for Wally, he had to run away to the forest after what happened, scared to hurt anyone, even though despite his best efforts...who ever wanders too far into the forest has no chance of coming back...much to his dismay...
But You heard of this, right?
That's why you yourself got into this forest in the first place....
Let's hope for you that you can help him...before he helps himself...

To give you a better, clearer explanation to interact with the askblog easier, Wally has two minds!
Himself, the one you know and love, albeit a little more crazed and depressed
And Hunter! The snarky talk-back individual who, when in full control, takes on a darker appearance to Wally's felt skin!
He is not Home, he is just the thing that made Home sentient, hence his eye mark, a symbol left behind from it as a side effect of being dormant and letting itself get "domesticated".
To the point where the house itself used it's energy to sprout it's own personality.
The reason why he is in Wally's body is for one, mobility, two, to catch better prey, and three, for the fun of it.
And the reason why Wally looks so tall and more buff is because it is a reflection of the power Hunter has, therefore it stretched Wally in ways he did, and still doesn't like, to accommodate it.
Hunter feeds off what you could technically call "kinetic energy" mixed in with the feelings from it.
he plays with his preys because them hoping they can flee away and the determination to get out feeds him, aswell as the physical movement you makes build up energy inside you, making him more full the more you fight and try to get away.
It is also why Hunter cannot eat most regular animals because they do not carry self-awarness (so, the ability to hope, dream etc...) and dead people (that have been dead for like longer than an hoir) don't move...so they dont have energy inside them anymore...
