((To all those who just started following me and those who have been, sorry about the inactivity. Life has been busy and with the show on hiatus it’s hard to get motivated for SU right now. Maybe I’ll bang out an ask or two soon, but like I said a lot is going on. Thank you for staying despite my lack of posts and hopefully you continue to stay. When I started this blog it was nearing summer and really took off during the summer where I could draw all day. I don’t plan on not posting until summer, oh no I’ll be posting between now and then, but as for how active I’ll be compared to my original activity, it probably won’t be like that until summer again or SU continues regularly and not in bombs.))

Another SU Theory

So a lot has just crossed my mind, and I think it is worth sharing now before it slips my mind. If you haven’t read the theory on Lapis being trapped in the mirror read that real quickly.

So lets say Pearl didn’t know that Lapis was trapped in that mirror. I’m going to start at a totally off topic spot, but bare with me. We know gems are or at least were mass produced, and Peridot has kinda hinted that Pearls are made as servants like a lot of people theorized. Well how are Pearls made? In the ocean right? 

Now time to jump to another random point. I’ve seen a few theories roaming around that Lapis isn’t that powerful on Homeworld because with her powers she would be ridiculously powerful right? That or maybe Homeworld is a barren planet or has a very small amount of water. Well what if that was all wrong? What if Homeworld does have water, maybe even a lot of water...and Lapis Lazulis are used to mass produce Pearls.

How does this relate to the Lapis being trapped in a mirror theory? Well what if it adds on to that...just that much more. If Pearl didn’t know Lapis was in that mirror, then her reaction would explain a lot. If she had found out that she had been keeping a gem for all these years captive within her own gem, but not just any gem...a gem that made her, her reaction was very much understandable and acceptable. She’s just a Pearl after all, she’s defective, and if this is true then she has stepped way over the line of what is acceptable for a Pearl.
