Thinking about driftcells and the queen again… fuckkkkkk

I like to believe at one point the beheaded and the queen loved each other. That one point before everything went to hell, they actually cared. But then he began to change, he was always selfish to a point but he knew he had a kingdom to rule.

When did that change.

How long did it take for her to resent him, to mourn the man he used to be. To hate him for what she had to become, what the acolytes forced her to be. When she had to be the one to carry it all, while he got to forget.

And when the beheaded finally does remember, I doubt he even feels remorse.

But does he see her in the drifter, does he think of before when he was happy, when he was in love. Does he see everything that made him fall for her in the drifter.

Does it even matterr
