Hi Destiny 2 fandom, I'm currently drawing my depictions of the Bray family. I've been reading lore of Destiny 2 for my fanfic / lorebook and I realized I needed to illustrate them because they will have minor/supporting role in my story lol

i think there is a difference between a knowingly flawed character and a thematically uncomfortable character and knowing the difference is half the battle

knowingly flawed character: this character has traits that the author deliberately put in to show they have nuance and aren't perfect as a person. this will put them at odds with some readers and endear them to others, depending on them as people, and that's good!

thematically uncomfortable character: oh boy the author has some Beliefs

This is how I feel with the ships I chose among the requests! Tried creative liberties with the shapes. colors and lighting too.

The names are deliberately placed together or separately! (yes, spot the x's too in-between the ships somewhere in the sketches / negative spaces)

Loid is the only one carrying both his name and Albrecht's :') The rest are either next to each other or opposing (look at Amaryn and Suda as enemies to more prolly) and Caliban and Revenant (who have different opinions about the cube whereas my Operator turned someone into a cube-)

Also, hc'ing Nightingale twins are yearners (aim for them lips)

Displaced - Warframe Simulation AU

A work-in-progress AU I made from 2021 where two rogue, sentient Warframes - a Valkyr and a Mesa (names pending) - found themselves stuck in a Sol System simulation sequence. Their common enemies are the endless shifting void and suppressing their humane features called 'emotions' buried beneath their twisted flesh.

The AU is based existential/identity crisis, rivals to unbreakable bond storyline, and exploration of how to do pretty backgrounds in 3D (most are made in SFM then Blender) with my favorite frames.

The story is divided to three parts: Pre-Simulation, Simulation World and Post-Escape. It is also notable that Valkyr wears her Kara Helmet in the simulation and Bastet Helmet in the real world. I will soon come up with more creative designs for the two!

Titles for the cover are from the songs of Sleeping At Last.
