The Temple Island was an island located in the northern latitudes of the planet Ahch-To. The island was home to the first Jedi Temple and a Jedi village where the first Jedi lived, which was maintained by Lanai Caretakers. Temple Island is based on Skellig Michael in Ireland; however, some scenes in The Last Jedi were shot on location just north on the Dingle Peninsula. (x)
