You can call me TGV or Venn! I use it/they/he pronouns! I’m assigned intersex at birth and I’m currently questioning my gender identity! This blog is dedicated to making flags for gender, sexuality, and other parts of identity!

This blog will NEVER talk on LGBT discourse. How you identify is none of my business, and does not affect me in the slightest. HOWEVER, if you have some concerns about flags used or made at any point, feel free to send me an ask/dm about it and I can see about removing it as necessary. All the flags posted to this account are made by me, and all terms made will have the original coiner linked or tagged if I did not coin it myself.

I have no DNI, though I ask you do not bring discourse onto my blog, as I do not like to harbour hate or discourse in my spaces.

I am a writer, and I don't which flag to give to one of my characters. He's a cis male, identifies as male, is aromantic, and is technically straight as he feels sexual attraction only to (cis) women and not men, HOWEVER he has frequent intercourse with his two male best friends. In his mind this is completely unrelated to attraction to gender/sex, as it goes above it into the territory of his bond with them, however it wouldn't happen with anyone else so the demi-label doesn't fit either (it's more similar, although not a perfect analogy, to how sapiosexuality works) Do you have any suggestions?

Hey there! Sorry this took so long to answer, I've been busy with house hunting so I haven't been as active on tumblr as usual!

This is a very interesting question! You could technically say he was hetroflexible, with the "flexible" part not being about sexual attraction, but with a trust/bond related flexibility. But for me I would try to think of it from the character's standpoint. Would he only see himself as straight? Would hetroflexible be a label that he's heard or identifies with? Would he feel like he needs to label it?

It all comes down to how you think your character would go about the situation, and how you think he feels about it all!
