*Samuel resists the urge to glance at them over his shoulder, unable to help but overhear.*
”What have you both been doing, anyways?”
“I have a boyfriend…and I broke into an oil rig, hehe…but I missed you two the whole time.”
“…I haven’t done much. My own girlfriend, ah….disappeared. I’ve searched absolutely everywhere, found absolutely nothing…she’s gone. Straight up gone…so I’ve spent most of my time…sulking, I suppose you could call it.”
“I know the feeling…I’m sorry I want there for you.”
*Sammy quickly picks up on Charles' panic... it reminds him of his dragons, almost.*
I think it's best if you stay with Charles right now. Besides, Ode or Nova or Icia can get the snacks instead. Aight?

Well. I got nothing else. You're blind, Charles, plain and simple. And also seriously malnourished and dehydrated, y'gotta eat a bit more of that pretzel y'got there. And, uhhhh- siblings, sister and brother? Y'all feel free to make yourselves at home.
*Sammy glances over at Icia just to make sure she's chill with it, to which she immediately nods and smiles a bit.*

He holds up his hand, revealing the little telltale bracelet. He looks much more worn out than the last time anyone saw him.
What the-
*Ode helps and jumps back, having been the closest to the door and nearly falling as the two people bustle in. While Samuel already has a protective arm out protecting Vixen and Charles, the sound of Icia's sword cuts the air as she aims it at the two intruders. Her eye is wide and distrusting.*
Who are you?!?!?!
“Icia, we’re-“
“CHARLIE!!-“
The girl pushes forward, causing vines to burst from the floor and harmlessly (though quite forcefully) move both Icia and Sammy out of the way. She uses that opening to bolt forward and hug-tackle Charles, bursting into inconsolable sobbing.
“Cal?-“

That's good at least. What about colors? If you turned to your side, could you see Vixen's brown hair or the pop of orange from her ears or tail?
”Uhhh…vvvvaguely. It all sort of…mushes together. I can’t really make out where her face should be.”
These definitely look more like combative scratches. But I wouldn't know enough 'bout non-Kingdom dragons to say.
*Samuel steps back.*
Charles, can you differentiate light and shadows at all? Like if we put you in a pitch black room and lit a candle right in front of you, you'd notice?
”I…believe so, yes.”

Well, the claws sort of look like dragon claws...
Not dragon claws from the Kingdom. Almost all dragons here got very thick claws and rounded, they scoop stuff out and are mostly meant for digging to make nests. If it was a dragon from here, with marks that big, Charles wouldn't even have an eye left.
“Dragons from the same world as me tend to have pretty sharp claws…for fighting, I suppose.”
Like y'got in a fight with an angry animal. Not a dragon, but some kinda animal with claws. Looks like a raccoon also went ham all over one side of your face.
”Oh. That’s…unpleasant.”
