🦋 - my name is theo, i'm 23 years old at the time of writing, and i am a non-binary, bisexual, disabled, and neurodivergent witch!
🫧 - my specialty is divination, specifically using tarot. i was naturally drawn to it and picked it up as if it were second nature. i also dabble in spirit work and you'll frequently find me talking about shadow work as well!
🌙 - i do tarot readings for a small fee! i'm unable to work due to my disabilities, so i charge a few dollars to help support myself. thank you for being understanding of this! i will attach my price menu below in case there is any interest. i plan on expanding my offerings very soon.
🌱 - i am cannabis friendly! i primarily use for medicinal purposes, but love using it in my practice as well, to help relax me and open my mind.

i was not expecting either of the posts to blow up and it's been slightly overwhelming, so bear with me.
my goal with this side blog is to document my practice and growth as well as spreading non-toxic positivity.

i've really been wanting to write this ritual ever since it was first placed in my heart a few weeks ago, and i finally got around to it! so here we go... 💖
Reconnecting/Cleansing Ritual
for reconnecting & cleansing your relationship with yourself or your partner ✨ keep reading below 👇
1.) set your intentions
if at all possible, come into this ritual with a clear mind and at the very least a neutral mindset.
if this ritual is for just yourself, what is your goal by performing it? are you feeling lost? hoping to connect with your inner self? or maybe hoping to cultivate some confidence?
if this ritual is for you and your partner, how are you looking to strengthen your bond? does your relationship need more trust, peace, or strength? or do you just want to create a peaceful moment to reflect and affirm your love?
2.) cleanse yourself/selves
there's many ways this can be done - incense is commonly used for cleansing, but i also really like using (properly diluted!) essential oils for anointing. i personally like to anoint the areas that are most troubled by what i want to treat (eg. over the heart for love or on the forehead for anxious thoughts) here's a few ideas for essential oils:
cardamom oil for love/self love
chamomile oil for stress reduction
clove oil for banishing negativity
lavender oil for anxious thoughts
geranium oil for trust
you can also add in crystals as well! place them around you/your partner or hold them while performing the ritual then keep them with you for the next five days. some ideas for crystals include:
rose quartz for love
rhodonite for forgiveness
amazonite for banishing negativity
citrine for self confidence
unakite for emotional balance / release
3.) connect
and here's where we connect with ourselves and/or our partner. if performing this ritual solo, i really like to wrap my arms around myself as if i'm giving myself a big hug, or sometimes i will place a hand over my chest to feel my heartbeat and my breathing while repeating some affirmations. the butterfly hug also works well here
my head and my heart work together
negativity has no control over me
i trust myself and my intuition
i am worthy
i am confident
if you're doing this ritual with your partner, physically connect in a way that makes you and them feel safe. my favorite is the melting hug. while in this position, take turns repeating affirmations/reassurance about each other and your relationship.
i am safe in this relationship
our trust is strong
we can work through disagreements together
i am present with you
we are by each other's side
you can continue on for as long as you'd like! when finished, i personally like to have a snack or meal or watch a movie/show to keep a relaxed and connected atmosphere.
i hope this ritual exercise can help welcome more peace and love into your life as much as it has helped me 💖

full disclosure, i'm not all too used to working with astrology in my practice yet (i specialize in tarot and energy reading) but my goodness, i just learned the north node is now in aries and will be for the next 18 or so months. and now it seems like everything makes so much more sense.
ever since the shift, i noticed i began to have such intense desires to shed the version of me that i have been playing to allow myself to transform into the real, authentic version of myself.
i felt intense desires to be more authentic and stop people pleasing, and start speaking the truth instead of what i think people want to hear.
it seems like this next year and a half is going to be very powerful and beneficial for prioritizing ourselves and listening to and fulfilling our true desires.
We gotta start posting about our practices more and what we find through research, experimentation, things we experience, etc.
Not the super sacred or private stuff, just like,

Learn a new fun fact? Share the info!!
Because it'll inspire others to do the same.
It doesn't have to be super decorative, aesthetic posts! It doesn't have to look like an academic paper!! It can be a picture of a sticky note with a spell idea scribbled on it!!!
I wanna see more people telling us about their tarot readings, their one-off spell that maybe didn't work, the thing they picked up from the thrift store that they plan on using as a spirit vessel, how energy flows for them, how they view magic, and so much more.
And don't think that you can't or shouldn't post because you're new or because you're inexperienced.
