So bioshock starts sorry I couldn’t hobble together enough details to close off bloodborne properly THE RISE OF RAPTURE

Rapture was established Nov 5th ,1946 It’s construction was finished in 1951 Since it’s creation Rapture became a place where the rich and the powerful would go to live “by the sweat of his brow” as Andrew Ryan would put it no urchins or leaches to suck them dry of what they deserve and no gods or kings to control them. Rapture was a place of freedom and advancements in science and medicine they created plasmids, which would rewrite ones genetic code to do amazing things like have a first full of lightning. These powers had…a pull on the city one that would pull hard enough to pull it to the ground and the fall begins

BLOODBORNE: RISE OF THE CHRUCH

So another explanation a shorter one concerning the churches rise to power and it's inevitable fall. The church was not very powerful in the time before the old blood swept through yarnham yet after this epidemic they rose to power under the pretence of healers and saints. They could obtain the serums and concoctions of blood primarily from the great ones who where trying there best to help humanity but you know mixing your blood with blood from a saint blessed by a large 6 armed Eldredge God never really goes well so the beastly scourge ends up happening and decimating yarnham and all of this happened because a god wanted to help a people were dieing and a church was hungry for power, hopefully some outsider comes along and ends the beasts once and for all.

BLOODBORNE : MARIA AND GERHMAN

So this segment is for basic understanding more than story continuation, sorry more story soon Maria when she became a hunter arguably before the beastly scourge was much of an issue she was apprenticed to a great hunter man and genius, Gerhman. They were two of the best hunters well EVER she weilded the rakuyo blades whwre as gerhman used the burial blade the first trick weapon introduced to the hunter revolutionizing the hunters arsenal. They continued their reign as master and apprentice and the best as what they did until well Maria's supposed untimely demise Gerhman was broken and in that great mind of his he had a plan he constructed the doll to embody Maria in form and appearance then to add the final piece he made a deal with the moon presence life for the doll if he would host the dream he of coarse was quick to accept and the doll was alive....but it wasent Maria Gerhman was furious at the doll for not having Marias personality going as far to strike it in rage but he made a fate for himself worse than death cursed to forever inhabit this horid dream. MARIA So you may be wondering what happened to maria well sadly she became blood drunk and when hunters become blood drunk and die they go to the nightmare a deserted hell full of none but beasts and fallen hunters and huntresses. Maria was here fallen as far as she could fall but oh Maria if Maria was one thing it was God damn stubborn she knew there was work to be done here and quickly got to it she had to guard the secret of the fishing hamlet, where the chuch did what can only be described as inhuman monstrous experiments on its inhabitants. Maria took up a post as the Astral clocktower and kept guarding for all of he days.

BLOODBORNE the birth of the dream

With the church in shambles the hunters employed by the healing church flee from the workshop in there once safe haven and search for a new home gerhman creates a separate world for them to work in with the he help of the moon presence of coarse he becomes host to the hunters dream. In the dream there are many oddities to be seen like the doll modeled after gerhamn own supposedly dead apprentice maria. The doll embodies maria in all but mind there personalities are very different to different for gerhman he harbors an anger towards the doll not likely to go away. So when the dream is made it is home to many a hunter like henryk gasgoine and Eileen if only for a short time henryk and Eileen became hunters of hunters Eileen being the only one of them to not fall to the scourge and gasgoine…qe all know what happened to the priest outsider sadly he fell to the scourge whilst locked in combat with a fierce hunter most likely blood drunk. Gasgoine daughters body will later be found in the sewers in search of her mother, a search she will never complete.

BLOODBORNE (the Folley of the church) as I call it It started as such a nice city full of happy people enjoying their day yarnham was religious as it were common in the older days but they didn’t follow any normal religion no there religion is the healing church a church that came when the need arose out of fear of the old blood a dreadful pestilence that went from home to home killing off the innocent and the weak and all people you could think of the church came with blood viles, viles full of blood from the healing church’s bloods saint or more directly from the great ones they just wanted to help yet sadly as a child playing with fragile China and not knowing what stop ment this new healing blood began turning the residents of yarnham into beastly creatures looking for blood to spill and rage to set loose. This gave rise to the hunters sent out by the church under cover of night to silence those who had fallen to the beastly scourge this worked… for a time when things got really bad before the great fall of yarnham there were civilians makeing hunting parties in the streets to hunt and kill anyone who had become a beast friends , family, loved ones none were safe if designated a beast these parties fell to the scourge themselves after abusing the viles to fight the beasts and then everything came crashing down around the church… P.s. the great ones are their own topic altogether.
