“That’s all I tried to do when I was younger.”

“What made you stop?”

“I’ll take that as a challenge” Maya said and begun chewing on her second slice of the hawaii pizza. “So why did you even order this big pizza if you knew you wouldn’t be able to finish it?”

“I actually ordered a personal sized pizza and the server fucked it up”

rosy-mendez:

“Thank you, Nathan. How about I buy you a beer then, in exchange for the pizza?”

“How could I possibly pass up the combination of a beer and a beautiful woman?”

karadciley:

“That would be me.” She joked. She actually preferred the rain over snow any day.

“You need to learn to dance in the rain”

rosy-mendez:

“Rocio. And yours?”

“Nathan”

[the-man-nathan]

karadciley:

“I suppose not, but there is always that one person who can’t stand a drop of water.”

“That person should suck it up”

[the-man-nathan]

“No, because then you’ll ruin it.” She shoots back, a cheeky smile tugging at the corners of her lips. A hand reaches out, sliding a plate towards herself. 

“Sometimes men can be decent”

karadciley:

“You must be a true Portlander then if rain doesn’t bother you.”

“A little water never hurt anyone”

karadciley:

“You won’t be doing much bike riding in this weather, but that is a nice choice of transportation especially in the summer.”

“I prefer it in the spring and fall”

karadciley:

“I’ll take that as a compliment. But I thought I was too tall for the sport and my parents had different plans for me anyway, kinda had to oblige. But enough about me, what about you? Tell me a fun fact.”

“I like when it’s warm out because I prefer to travel by bike”

Josalyn was meeting her older sister Morgan at the club she worked at for a late night dinner, but she got to the club early and her sister was entertaining a bachelor party. The younger Reyes wasn’t unused to being at the club, she often found herself among the scantily clad women when her sister was working. The food and drinks were good and the girls friendly enough so she didn’t mind. Besides, should she ever need, she thought it would be a good place to work.

She took a seat at the bar next to the man she had seen on few occasions but rarely spoke to. He owned the place and currently he looked fit to be tied as he poured over what looked to be the club’s financial books. Josalyn shifted on the stool beside Nathan and glanced over his shoulder. “You’re wrong,” she said looking at the bartender and ordering a whiskey. She looked back at Nathan. 

Nathan had a long day, and was really off his game. The girls wouldn’t stop complaining about stupid shit, to the point where one requested that he do his work where he could watch the girls. Bringing his book out to the bar, he couldn’t focus over all of the music. This was never going to happen again. To top it off he heard a girl with a sharp tongue and turned towards her. “Oh really, and why do you say that?”

“A fun fact?” she repeated thinking of something quick. “I used to want to be a gymnast when I was little but then I grew a lot.”

“Well, why couldn’t you be. You have the body for it”

rossmayaxx:

Maya laughed and took a bite of the pizza that was laying on the table in front of her. “And you’re not so big yourself, you couldn’t even finish a whole pizza”

“Well, you can’t finish half”

rosy-mendez:

“I mean, I don’t mind taking one for the tea. I am happy to help.”

“Perfect, have a name?”

karadciley:

“I can definitely help with those two things, or at least try wit the second one.” She said giving him a small smile then grabbing two cups and filling them with water before returning back to the front. “Here you go.” she said handing him the water.

“Perfect” he said, lightly, before taking a sip of the water. “So, how about a fun fact?”

rossmayaxx:

“I believe it would be impossible to not eat more than one pizza slice” Maya said in a similar playful tone.

“You’re just so small” he said, with a playful tone.

“Is it a hawaii pizza? Because I can gladly help you finish it if it is!”

“Then sit your tiny self down and prove that you can eat more than one slice” he said, playfully.
