Getting the hoard organized a bit. Still working on it. I didn't realize we had collected so many foxes! There are a couple more elsewhere too.

Really happy to finally feel able to work on this. It's been a mess for so long >..< It will still be a bit messy to take different ones down, but not too bad and we have our most common support plushies on a less packed shelf.

Can you tell that Void is more camera shy than Lumi? Lumi loves being the center of attention, while Void tends to tolerate it.

Getting a photo of these two together can be really difficult since Lumi wants to glow and Void Puppy wants to become, well, a void. The woes of having hounds of opposing elemental natures.

I used a hollow piercing needle to thread the post through. And I put a few stitches around the edge of the created holes to make sure they don't unravel. The smaller the needle, the less likely that is to be an issue. I used a 14g post, but a 16g needle. It's a little fiddly, but a 14g needle does more damage in my experience, where a 16g tends to be small enough to go between the fibers.

Customized Lucid's eyes a little. They're the same eye, but we replaced the brown backing with a gold one, to give them a lighter hue. Really happy with how they look now.

So, if someone says "someone did a thing and I was bothered by it." They don't give names or any identifying factors outside of "this was done." And, you know you did the thing. The best thing you can do, is try to fix it. The worst thing you can do, is out yourself by getting defensive and posting about it. Because then, it is certain that you knowingly did the thing. Otherwise, you wouldn't feel called out by someone *not* calling you out.

Anyway, so something I was kind of hoping wasn't intentional, definitely was. And the person is defensive because people can't just go "oh, sorry, won't happen again" when they do something shitty and someone says they don't like it.

The best part is...I'm gone. I literally left the tiktok community and haven't said a word to anyone about the thing since. Didn't even tell anyone who did it and genuinely forgot their username...which sucked when I wanted to block them on instagram. Found them today and saw their defensive post. Realized it was definitely intentional..

You don't get defensive when you haven't been called out unless you know it was you and you know it was wrong.

Anyways, they're going to have to do the drama on their own. I blocked them, got my thoughts out way over here on Tumblr (still not giving away any identifying factors that would out them), and am going to go back to not thinking about it.

But I was right about one thing: every time they see the thing..they're going to think of me..and I'm never going to think of them again.

Looking for liminal\voidcore\dreamcore\weirdcore names for this little one. Any genders. The name Void is already in use by another!

I have some lore plans for him because the term 'liminal leopard' popped in my head and now it has to become reality.

We had this recurrant dream a few times of a blonde girl in a Victorian-esque, sapphire blue velvet dress with white lace. But she wasn't a girl. If you stared into her eyes, they would turn from blue human eyes, to golden cat eyes. She would turn into a leopard and lunge and just before she struck, her glowing golden eyes would become car headlight and the car would hit with a gutteral growl.

So, we want to make this leopard sort of themed after that. A leopard that hunts in dreams and dwells in the space between conscious and unconscious.

But, we are struggling a bit with the name. Name ideas we have so far:

Daze, Vapor, Dream, Mirage, Fable, Somnio, Deja Vu, Specter, Oculo, Hypno(s), Nero, Fathom

Might try combining some of them.

Thinking Lucidious, Lucid for short. Will definitely have a second name like "Lucidious Haze", but for now just seeing if Lucidious fits.

The name Fable did keep appearing, and does suit them, but it doesn't quite have the vibe I want. Like, I want something that sounds almost uncomfortable without being overt.

This creature is a dream-stalker. They are the reason you feel watched in dreams, the paranoia that makes you snap awake without explanation, but with a looming sense of dread.

And I don't feel like the name Fable conveys that.

So this is Bingly the rescue pup by Douglas. One of my headmates had to have him, but to be honest, we haven't bonded with him much. But, every time we have considered rehoming him, something has stopped us.

So, today, we weighted his limbs, gave him a new collar, and a KK slider pin for his bandana. We originally kept the name Bingly as it really does suit him, but I think we need to make him our own and give him his own name and learn his personality.

We may post him a bit more as we work on bonding with him
