My thoughts on the MPGIS TV show:

Let me just say I am extremely happy that the creative team behind the series has been recognized so much that they have been given a light for developing their show for TV; that is an awesome thing, especially since all of this started with just some Barbies bought from a dollar store that were made to just insult each other and make poop jokes. 

However, since day one of watching I've seen people in the comments saying they'd love to see it on Adult Swim or just as a TV show in general, and each time I've disagreed. As much as I love TMPGIS, I don't think it would be a good idea for it to be so major, just because television has restrictions. How can they freely swear? Yes, South Park has swearing and so do a lot of other shows, but they're bleeped out, censored. I'm not saying swearing the the end-all-be-all thing in this situation, but swearing is what helped bring the show its popularity. On the internet nothing's censored.

I just feel like if TMPGIS became a legit television series it would lose the impact it currently has. Imagine if Orange is the New Black had been a show on HBO, it wouldn't have been as great because it was released in a format that's already been done. The fact that it was on Netflix helped itself get noticed; the fact that TMPGIS is a show based on the internet is what helped it get noticed.
