He’s aligning his technology with both GOP political strategy and the larger male-centered culture war that the right has been waging for the better part of a decade now. And how exactly would his technology only hurt Democrat women?
An uncomfortable read. Might be wise not to skip it.
I remember the transfeminist discourse of a decade ago being openly against any form of rape culture and sexualization of children coming from an analysis of transfemmes as more likely to experience physical and sexual abuse as children but then we let the selfish weirdos with multiple accusations from young trans women take over the culture

I made this feverish, unwinding loom for @youremysunshine8 's bday, since she is reading Emily Wilson's translation of The Odyssey.
It's made from an old painting frame with the canvas removed. I painted the wood a darker color and hammered in a couple hundred tacks, which I strung with white yarn.
The weaving itself took a long time, since I've never done that before and wasn't using a real loom, though I did make a make-shift heddle from a ruler. The meander is woven in soumak, which means you wrap the weft around each warp instead of just going over-under; this takes a long time but gives it a really cool dimension.
I carved Penelope's hands from chipboard, and painted them the same color as the loom. I wanted to convey the "muscular, firm hand" from Wilson's translation.

The last T-rex commander probably got tired of getting his neutrino shipments blocked by the great nation of pterosaurs and ordered his space patrol to drop their defunct nuclear-powered satellite-cum-colony onto the land, foolishly and mistakenly believing that the former colony now commonly known to humanity as Chicxulub wouldn't impact his own nation...but alas.

I think dinosaurs could use tools and had advanced technology, but they got into wars among themselves to the point that one of them dropped their nuclear-powered satellite and space colonies back to Earth in a misguided attempt to end all wars. Yeah, dinosaurs destroyed themselves...that's my hypothesis.
