Iâm pretty sure Iâm in the very small minority that actually likes Delphi and her being Voldemortâs daughter. I genuinely think she has a lot potential, character-wise.
In TCC, Delphyne Corona Lestrange-Riddle was abandoned by the Death Eaters following the fall of Voldemort. She ended up an orphan growing up in the muggle world, bouncing from foster home to foster home until she was taken in by one Medea Rowle and was properly introduced to the wizarding world.
Delphyne attended Hogwarts and was sorted into Slytherin. Unlike her parents, she was a normal witch that had actual friends and no interest in pureblood supremacy. She just wanted a good education and enjoy life as a magical being.
That is, until she learned about who her real parents were and discovered the Cursed Vaults.
I canât give too much away due to spoilers, but Delphyne is basically the main antagonist of TCC who has no interest in reviving her father or following in his footsteps. Sheâs determined to forge her own path and be the powerful wizard Voldemort never was.
She went to school around the same Jacob did, so they ended up working together to find the Cursed Vaults. Jacob fell for her, but Delphyne saw him as nothing more than a pawn she could use for her own benefit.
Her relationship with Albus and Scorpius is pretty much the same as it was in the play, but Albus sees her more as a big sister he could confide in.
Mayari and Delphyne are basically the Harry and Voldemort of this generation. Enough said.
