Hello there!! Wow, I’ve never had to introduce myself before, but this seems fun… I am the curator of your local newspaper, and I am very devoted to my craft!
Hm? A name? What’s that, I don’t have… Oh, okay… I don’t really have a name, but you may call me whatever you believe fits. I’m told I kind of need a name. Huh.
Pronouns? What are those? Oh, I see. No, I don’t have those either- Never mind, never mind!
Please feel free to drop by for an interview any time! Or, even better, bring along a friend! And if the friend should not wish to come to me, I’ll gladly go to them, if you can point me in the right direction ;3
OOC //
Hiiiiii
So, 🗞️anon started as a quick little thing because I was bored and didn’t want to do full-fledged rps… but then it became sort of full-fledged rps… and now I’m having way too much fun pestering people :3
So please!! Regardless of fandom (as long as I know it, it’s fair game; 🗞️anon started in The Flight SMP rp blogs, but I’ll happily do others! Seriously. Send them to Oakhurst or Bannerfall or wherever the Life Series takes place. I mean anywhere.), I seek to bring whimsy and a little bit of silly pestering to my victims interviewees.
Will do:
RPs
Asks
Being sent to someone’s ask box
Shipping if that ends up what people want lol
Pretty much anything SFW :3
#-🗞️anon - 🗞️anon’s signature; ic rps/questions
#pesterings - bothering people :3
#questionings - bothering people, but nicely /j :3
#chatterings - talking, but not questioning or pestering
#dragonings - playing with the sweetest like creatures in the whole wide world
So it would seem! You have experience, then. What sort of fighting was yours to do, though? Galdiating, bounty hunting…? What other sorts of fighting were popular in your time?
Regardless. I am certainly excited to see how this leg up on the competition treats you.
Oh, no I’m the best fighter here by far. Nikos, he seems rather…strong as well. And maybe the champion Nobody. But I’m confident I could beat any of the other champions. Maybe even multiple at once.
Hello there! Correct me if I am misinformed, but you are a satyr, yes? I find this intriguing. Would you mind introducing yourself for the gods’ newspaper?

"...hello." They take several steps back, heart racing, ears ringing, hooves clopping in a nervous pattern against the dirt.
As is only fair. I am the doted courier and caretaker of the newspaper through all the lands it travels, and it just so happens that this is the place it has most recently landed. I have no name, though, so you may call me whatever you deem fitting.
As for my intentions, I only seek to spread the news of the world to those brave enough to read of it. In this case, the gods have found themselves as curious and I, so I ask my curiosities of their champions and deliver back to them.
It is lovely to meet you, Cleo! If I may ask, which god are you the champion of? And, if you’ll indulge me further, what was your mortal life like before you were brought into the game?
…Do I scare you? I promise I do not mean to. You needn’t tell me anything if you do not want, but if it is something to do with me- or my questions- I should like to know so I could fix the issue.
if you are certain. Some of my inquiries seem to trigger panic, though. Perhaps you’d like me to avoid the topic of other champions?
Then may I ask, were you a satyr in life as well as death? Or was this a gift from Pan? And, of course, do you enjoy being a satyr rather than a human?

Lovely! Would you be so kind as to introduce yourself, firstly? I should love to know your name and what sorts of research you do. And, of course, perhaps a few of your favorite foods. One must know their way to a heart, after all.
"Ooh, okay! I'm Nem! Currently I'm researching theology—though that's a side interest, my passion is cryptozoology first and foremost! My favorite food is oranges, though I have a fondness for fruit of all kinds!"
Very nice to meet you, Nem! Those are both respectable and curious passions, perhaps you’d say what you like most about both of them? And, if you’d so like to, you could explain what each means for our layman readers at home?
Fruits are indeed a popular favorite. I shall have to keep my eye out for some to gift you!
"Theology is the study of religious belief! It's rather interesting, because it really shows how people believe in whatever they can—even if it doesn't line up with their neighbors! It's interesting to see believers explain how their worldview is valid, I suppose. Cryptozoology is searching for and studying cryptids and other beasts of folklore, usually ones that don't have their existence proven yet! I suppose it's my favorite because of all the impossibilities in the world already, to us, the common thought is 'what's one more?'"
How intriguing! Your perspective is quite the relatable one, as well.
And, if you should not mind sharing, do you have a greater goal in your life that you work towards? Something to achieve, mayhaps, or someone you look up to and wish to be like?
"A greater goal in my life... I think I'd like to make my own library! Compile everything I've found, which isn't a paltry amount. The process seems quite interesting!"
"Currently, my personal library is mostly comprised of local myths, culture, and folklore from pretty much anywhere I go! I always stop by a town and pick up a few legends, it's rather fascinating!"
"Well, quite a while... yeah, a few years back I found this local legend about a big fish lizard living in a particular lake. It was pretty interesting, everything that happened around that to try to prove or disprove the myth..."
"Ah- Scotland was where I found that one, quite a while back I visited two kingdoms feuding before they merged into Bannerfall, Oakhurst was a small town with quite the vampire problem..."
"Centuries ago, Oakhurst was ruled by an influential vampire coven—the Goldsmiths, if I remember correctly—before the townsfolk overthrew them. Four hundred years later, the entire town was massacred and burnt to the ground, though it's hard to pinpoint exactly what wiped everyone out. It could have been plague, famine, or the supernatural, who's to say?
Two hundred years after that, something happened with vampires in Oakhurst. It's hard to get details, as there were only 14 people tied up in the mess, and only a fraction of them survived, including someone who bore a striking resemblance to Lord Goldsmith."
Okay! So the Kingdom of Bannerfall used to be two, the Red and Blue Kingdoms. They fought back and forth for quite a while, until they united to push back and seal their own version of the Corruption- which is interesting, because stories of pale corruption from that far back is... concerning."
A very captivating story indeed. I have not heard much about the pale corruption, myself, but I know it is a vicious blight… to hear it is so widespread over both time and regions is indeed concerning.
Were the two sides of Bannerfall always separate? Else, how did they come to split?

Why, greetings! How lovely to be able to run into you!
Pray tell, would you introduce yourself for the gods’ newspaper? You surely can guess that they are quite intrigued by you and all the chaos you’ve been stirring. I myself must say, it is quite entertaining.

“Why, greetings.”
Apokuna inclines her head politely, her expression perfectly innocent.
“My name is Apokuna, though most seem to prefer Apo. I am the champion of Morpheus, god of dreams.”
She pauses at the mention of chaos.
“Chaos?”
Her feathers shift innocently.
“I can't imagine what you mean. I've simply been doing my best to survive. If other people happen to find that entertaining, well…”
She gives a small shrug.
“I'm hardly responsible for their sense of humor.”
She smiles politely.
“I'm fighting for a wish that could change the lives of my people. So I intend to win.”
“Anything else you've heard about me is, of course…”
Ah, another interesting face! It seems I’ve had some luck with meeting champions today. You are a champion, correct?
Would you be such a dear as to introduce yourself for the gods’ newspaper?
