me telling you my dumbest and weirdest bfb headcanons due to me being tired and bored

-firey jr actually is firey's biological son, but was born after firey's fire spread to a smaller area and the lil guy gained sentience. firey sucks at naming things so he named firey jr...well, firey jr.

-the fauna in goiky are hard to come across, which is why most food-based contestants don't have meat. the biggest exception being taco, but i personally believe the fish inside her shell is taco's own doing.

-the life essence of humans was taken to give sentience to the characters, which is why david looks like a stick figure and only says "aw seriously"

-barf bag's barf either is like stomach acid in the fact that it doesn't really detriment her OR the fact that barf bag has to carry around vomit every day is putting a strain on her mental health

-8-ball has a criminal record

I just had this thought, in BFB episode 26 Profiley tells Leafy to call them "Profile Picture" because only their friends call them "Profiley". The same way friends call each other by their nicknames on real life. So I was thinking, what if all the characters that have their names ending with "y" and not having their kind of object as their exact name or something... have those "names" as actually their nicknames? For example, Stapy's real name would be actualy Staple but only his friends call him Stapy; Spongy would be Sponge; Leafy would be Leaf; Bracelety would be Bracelet; Balloony would be Balloon; Firey would be Fire or possibly Fire Ball since Leafy called him by that on episode 25; and it goes. Not to mention this could also explain why Needle hates to be called "Needy" and also X calling Four "Foury" in the Christmas parody song. I think it's normal for all of them not to have actual names and only call each other by their object specie (possibly also because there are only one of each specie so it makes it easier) and some of them having those nicknames to be more unique, you know. But that's just my theory. What do y'all think of it? The more I think of it, the more I think it makes sense...

well, for needle, "needy" is an actual word that means poor, so it already makes sense why she'd hate being called that. but other than that, this is honestly very cool of a theory! maybe they just wanna be viewed as more than just what they are, but who they are.

justifying and analyzing eggy’s behavior towards teardrop in bfb 1 (and perhaps 4)

I know this is about the earlier episodes, shut the fuck up. Eggy and Teardrop is an interesting character interaction in which I hoped got expanded upon, but now that they’re on different shows, chances are we won’t get to see more of the two. The character guide states that Eggy uses the words “blah blah blah” to test if someone is really paying attention. This means that Eggy is still iffy on her relationship with Teardrop. So, from what we’ve gathered about Eggy, she was originally silent as well, but because she was satisfied with what she already had. Because she broke out of this and started talking, I think that Eggy expects the same for Teardrop, thinking that she can also talk. But unless something different happens, we know that Teardrop clearly can’t do that. But Eggy doesn’t. And considering she was an egg inside of an egg, she hasn’t always had contact with the outside world.

This is the start of a new blog I’ve been wanting to make for a while, where I ramble back an forth about BFDI & BFB things I wish to talk about. As you can tell, my favorite character is Liy, but I also enjoy a bunch of other characters. I have a couple of drafts ready I’ll try to send as soon as possible, but for now this is the very first post.
