IT'S NOT BABY'S VOICE! (Fnaf Sister Location theory)
(Remember: this is just my OPINION and does not mean I think all other theories are wrong. It’s just a compilation of things I decided to look at more closely than some people.)
WARNING: SPOILERS FOR SISTER LOCATION
If you’re reading this then you obviously know some stuff about Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location. And most of you probably have accepted the-voice-without-a-name as Baby because it usually comes up around her area. But I’m here to say that it’s not, in fact, Baby.
The voice belongs to Chica.
Now before you write me off as some insane person looking for attention, here is why I think what I think:
#1) Most of you would probably say that Chica never actually appears in Sister Location, right? Wrong. If you look carefully in the Parts and Service room during night 2 (I think), her character model from Fnaf 1 shows up during one of the flashes of light. Don’t believe me? Google it.
#2) Would any of you refer to yourself in the third person? I wouldn’t. So then, why would Baby say “Circus Baby has already been here today” (Night 5; regular ending) in the Scooping room if she’s the one talking? Up to that point and after, assuming the voice is Baby, she has referred to herself as “I” or “Me”. Why would she refer to herself from a completely different perspective only once? Because the voice isn’t Baby’s.
#3) OK, let me address the elephant in the room so-to-speak: the ice cream incident. Long story short, Baby makes ice cream and basically “eats” a little girl and the story is told by the voice (Yes, I am very aware of who the little girl is and what actually happened, but that’s not why I’m here). I’m here to say that it was Chica’s conscience that was inside Baby’s body that day. The idea is that the souls of children are controlling the animatronics, right? Well, what if Chica’s soul found a way out of the suit and learned to speak through Baby, using her body as a means to project sound (I’m basically saying Chica possessed Baby)? It’s possible, given the first point I made. And because of the voice’s obvious want for a moral code, (“Why did that happen?” -Night 3), she never went back on stage and uses Baby as a conduit to speak to the player at night (that will be further explained in the next point).
#4) The voice says “Did you know that I was on stage once? It wasn’t for very long, only one day”(Night 3). This implies that, unlike Baby, the voice doesn’t perform regularly. If the voice is Chica, she could be telling the story of a day she was inside Baby’s suit and either witnessed the incident or made it happen somehow (this is going off my theory that Chica possessed Baby’s animatronic body). If the voice witnessed the incident and didn’t have any part in it otherwise, she could be blaming herself for it and telling the story like it was her fault.
#5) Also, remember in the Scooping room when the voice said “There’s something very important that I’ve learned how to do over time…how to pretend” (Night 4)? Just think about that for a minute. I’ll wait.
#6) Here’s something else to blow your mind: “You’re inside something that came from my old pizzeria” (Night 4). As far as I know, Baby never had an “old pizzeria”. As a matter of fact, I don’t think any of the animatronics in SL had a previous home (excluding the Springtrap costume). If they did, I’ve never heard of it.
#6 ½) Theoretically, Sister Location takes place at about the same time as Fnaf 4. It is also said to be under the Crying Child’s house. There are also inaccessible rooms shown on the map in Parts and Service resembling the mini games. It’s completely possible that Chica could be the voice, given that Scott Cawthon loves dropping hints and plot twists. (There’s really no point to this reason…)
#7) And finally, the purple eyes. The common ending of SL shows the shadow of a man in what seems to be a mirror. Then his eyes open, and they’re purple. Presumably, it’s the voice who inhabits your body, with what I think is an eye color change. Every animatronic has an eye color different from purple: Baby has green, Foxy has brown/gold, and so on.
But Chica’s eyes are purple.
Coincidence? Come on, we’re talking about Scott Cawthon here. When is it ever a coincidence with him? He could have picked any other color for eyes, but what does he choose? The same color as Chica’s.
That’s it. Happy thinking! :)
(P.S.: I know it’s long and I’m sorry…not)
