i went to the orientation today and got a bunch of cute goodies from my department and the journalism society, but by far my favourite has to be this reporter’s notebook that was waiting on my chair.

time really flies when you’re stressed beyond belief and just praying that you don’t forget anything major; it also flies when you’re procrastinating saying goodbye to everyone who you’ve known your entire life.

most importantly time flies when you watch hell’s kitchen whilst packing (i’ve watched two seasons in two days and holy shit i think it’s a drug)

i’m moving to ottawa (where my uni is) in less than a week and i barely have any packing done. if anybody has advice on how/what to pack it would be appreciated.

This is a summary of college only using two pictures; expensive as hell.

That’s my Sociology “book”. In fact what it is is a piece of paper with codes written on it to allow me to access an electronic version of a book. I was told by my professor that I could not buy any other paperback version, or use another code, so I was left with no option other than buying a piece of paper for over $200. Best part about all this is my professor wrote the books; there’s something hilariously sadistic about that. So I pretty much doled out $200 for a current edition of an online textbook that is no different than an older, paperback edition of the same book for $5; yeah, I checked. My mistake for listening to my professor.
