Evil is taking over WAGGGS HQ this Halloween…

The Queensland Scarf has always intrigued me…

In the past the green meant the group was unchartered, while maroon meant it was. Now as practically every group is chartered (having met the standards set by Branch) they’ve done away with the green and thus everyone is wearing the maroon scarf.

While I think it would be cool to have Group/District/Region scarves I like the unity of the maroon scarf.

Phaona’s scout rules: (Generally followed by every adult in my group and therefore all the kids too!)

1. If it sets on fire, it stays in the fire. But otherwise feel free to poke the embers.

2. The best way to cool down on a camp is a water fight. Ignore the leaders telling you to stop, if YOUR leaders tell you it’s ok, it’s ok.

3. Drink plenty.

4. If you come back from the woods and you’ve not got scratches all over your legs, what have you even been doing?

5. The quicker camp is set up, the quicker you can go play.

6. Always share sweets with your leaders.

7. Always let your leaders join in wide games if the want to.
