Okay but hear me out with this one
777 after a particularly grueling shift (like all three of them just were having a Shit day that day)
I've thought abt this post for a Good While, actually !! N I feel I'm ready to answer!
777 Squad After a Long Shift at Coin Rush
Includes: Blanc, Noir, and Rouge
ft. Ether, Commander, Nero
No NSFW, purely headcanon drabbles.
- She tried to be optimistic, she really really did.
- Waking up drained didn't help, even after having one of Ether's "special" energy drinks.
- Noir was worried about her sister, but Blanc assured the former that she's fine.
- Not only was it slow as hell, meaning the girls made very little money, but the customers that did come in weren't very keen on the bunnies' presence during their time there.
- Except for those who didn't mind, which on paper sounds good.
- In practice? Blanc had to call security twice because one guy couldn't stop following her around.
- Almost wrung a customer's neck because he tried luring Noir off somewhere.
- Blanc's food for her break wasn't done until after because they were out of a particular ingredient, so that sucked.
- Meanwhile, it seemed that no matter who she tried giving her signature luck to, nothing worked.
- Ended up overhearing a disgruntled customer talk to the bartender, calling the white rabbit a fraud, which almost sent her over the edge.
- The imposter syndrome would be sinking in by the time the girls all leave the casino.
- The Commander would obviously comfort the trio, saying that unlucky days are natural. That sometimes, we all have off days, and it's okay if these things hit rather hard.
- Blanc takes this well, remaining optimistic that the day was just a dud and the next day would be a bit better.
- Lord help this poor girl.
- Noir understands why exactly she gets all the attention, and it doesn't make her anxiety any better.
- Although her anxiety doesn't overshadow her generosity, which can be given to a fault.
- Was almost lured out of the casino by a customer on the pretense of needing some luck for a poker game with friends at his place.
- Yeah, her sister wasn't having Any of that, the man got all but whacked upside the head by the time security talked to them.
- Noir ended up leaving her pole grip at home, and she forgot to stock up for her locker.
- Not like there were many customers to even throw money her way anyway.
- The customer incident really did shake her up, and she stayed in the locker room for the rest of the night, Mustang understands why.
- Upon going to the Commander, she's nonverbal and really not willing to talk about the incident.
- She's somewhat better when the Commander gives them the encouragement necessary for the day. Maybe tomorrow will be better.
- The daily coinflip was already a sign that today wasn't her day.
- On her way to the casino earlier, a black cat zoomed right up to her and started trying for uppies before Nero had to step in bc little guy got out of his harness
- Nero, flustered and carrying an empty harness attached to a lead: oh my gosh I'm so sorry, Rouge!! >_<
- Rouge, trying not to combust after the kitty tried scaling her leg: It's Fine :') No Worries Either Way. (While poor girl is worrying both ways plus a secret third way.)
- The cracked mirror in the locker room didn't help ONE BIT.
- She had to go under a ladder because two construction workers were fixing a pipe in the ceiling and there was literally no other way around them.
- Some dumbass coming inside from the rain forgot to close his umbrella upon entry, and of course she saw it.
- The following events during the open hours were inevitable in her eyes.
- When she arrived at the Commander's office, she was nonverbal with superstition-induced anxiety.
- She's lucky the Commander takes it seriously enough to calm her down with some water and breathing tactics. Most would just call her weird or say she's overreacting.
- She felt better after the encouraging talk with the Commander. Hell, that night, she found a four-leaf clover on her way to her quarters. A surefire sign that things will look up tomorrow.
