the reason why so-called “obsession” on here sounds fickle at times is because they do make it easy. it’s easy to get unhealthily attached to someone when you’re empty. it’s easy to get angry or insecure when your favorite person talks to someone else. it’s easy to say you’ll die for them or kill for them when you know there’s a less than 1% chance of that ever actually happening. it’s easy to pretend to be devoted to someone, but do you know what their mother did to them when they were six? do you know what happened to them back in high school? do you know they’re two years sober?

baring your teeth and growling is easy. you know what’s hard? trusting someone enough to eat out of their hand. enough to tell them what your mother did to you when you were six, what happened back in high school, that you’re two years sober. enough to shower together. falling in love all over again when the rose-colored glasses come off, and they’re not the infallible religious icon you thought they were. being happy they decided to go back to school or get a job, even if that means they won’t spend all their time with you anymore. learning about their interests despite not being interested in them yourself. helping them brush their teeth when they don’t want to live enough to do it themselves. helping them wash away their own puke from their clothes. letting them go when you keep hurting each other - or better yet, letting go of pride and learning to grow together.

that kind of devotion is hard, yet the truest one there is.

Not my usual type of post but I need to vent somewherer. I really wish I could go to pride this year. I hate the idea of going alone and Azul and me are unable to go together this year even if we kept it non obvious that we are sisters dating. As for other friends none of them seem to have good schedules I can match to go (plus most of them wouldn't aproove of me taking a consang flag to pride.) Oh well guess i'll be gay and incestous at home hopefully next year.

So Green was visiting me yesterday and we started watching Oshi no Ko mostly cause I'm really into it (im only at season 2 so far) and he was curious about why I'm so into it. Well...Green apparently really really likes and relates to Aqua, he also said I'm a lot like Ruby (no he doesn't know!) I've been really fucking stressed out by college and due to my own lack of planning skills have spread myself way the fuck too thin. I'm exhausted and still have way too much homework than I feel I can do but I'm gonna try anyways.
