I’ve started to catch spiders with my bare hands whenever I find them in the house and now that whatever fear of them has been smothered by being very informed on them. And now I can stop and not panic and actually take in the sensory input.

It feels weird. I’ve only caught jumping spiders and rather big house spiders.

The jumpers feel really light and kinda feather like, but are very calm for the situation while the house spiders panic and always attach a silk anchors wherever they go which is kinda weird and itchy feeling, though their steps feel really heavy(for a spider) and zoomy.

Like the house spiders go:

“Oh shit oh shit oh shit I’m gonna die, I must escape this behemoth”

While I’m just skipping the step of getting a cup.

Idk it’s just a fun thing I’ve noticed.

Feelin silly so here’s a Hollow Knight oc

They have a little nest in an area deep in lost Verdencia, one of the last green places, though most of the plants are dull and the animals are too skittish or too few to hunt. (Inaccessible but spoken of)

Out of hope of finding more food, they skinned a haunted pilgrim and started wandering Greymore. Hornet can encounter them in Greymore after entering Bellhart.

They refer to Widow as that old spiteful lady who’s yet to find out they exist. they’ll eventually join the flea caravan after exploring a bit.

Dialogue for watercolor thingy below:

Lint- this place is much brighter than where I’ve been staying. The husks here have very thin shells. Good for skinning! And theirs so much prey! Fellow spider, would you like to share my kill? You look as though you may need it.

Hornet- I must refuse, I do not require food as often as most, though I thank you for the offer. Your method of hunting, unsettling as it may be, is quite interesting. How do you hide your scent so well?

Lint- Oh! Blood, moss, and dust! Smell like the land and not even other hunters will know it’s you under a hide! Though you will always look wrong to those who still hold their minds.

Been messing with blender, cloth physics work about as well as my java code on the first run test, the needle phases through the cloak and the cloak goes on the fritz whenever I try to make the needle have collisions but uh, at least the bones mostly work.

I’ve got no clue what I’m doing but at least the shading looks nice.
