Still interested? Just curious? Why don't I tell you a few other tidbits of our server then ^-^
We host a on-tumblr Newspaper (This blog actually!) that posts Server Newspapers every so often, as well as various locales of the builds and settlements our residents have built!
Besides that, every year in our main city, Green Canyon, we host our very own EnderCon complete with a mini build competition, Spleef games in our arena, Pig Racing in the Sky, and more!
So, what're ya waiting for? Why not give us a shot?
[not to be confused with the regular locked chest, this version of the locked chest, also known as “steve co. supply crate” was released in april fools 2011, and would redirect players to the “minecraft store”, a site made as a joke by the former game owner.]

We have now updated to 1.18.1! We have added datapacks to the server again, the list of features is currently being updated as we discover what was added!
An ever-windingly long hall, devoid of life save for myself and one other. Echoes of the past.. Portals deactivated save for a few. It's an alien feeling, seeing the black emptiness of void on my skin.
There are no doors, only the frames of what may lie beyond this hall. I fear what horrors and worlds we stumble upon lest we let our curiosity overtake us. The feeling is overwhelming in of itself. Mysteries of what is beyond swirl in my mind. That which is unknown is truly only known to the select few man that built this place... If you may call the builders of this past place human. Beasts may have constructed such an archaic transport.
Though, do forgive my ramblings... It seems my curiosity must lead me further in, or I will find myself trapped. Unable to act as I wither away.
Deep within Order... There is Chaos. Untamed, wild.
Yet, despite everything. There is a strange beauty in Chaos. It warps our world, and we embrace it. Begin anew. Carve out our own safety in the ever churning storms.
((Long story short? It's a community server! We've been building the Canyon since 2017! Our admin built the Order Hall as accurate as we could get, and if you explore the town you'll find a lot of fun signs of the community like a parrot built on the town wall, or diving into the lake near the entrance to see the glass dome containing a little farm inside. The Cube Kids has many builds that are intertwined between two players or even three, four, maybe five!
Even if you venture into the other parts of the world you'll find various little towns built by players. In the Northwest we have the Prismarine Nation, a town made of all prismarine. Going Southeast you'll find The Oasis, The Southern Plains, The Fairy Kingdom, and more.
I've been apart of the server since roughly 2018 or 2019 myself, I do run the newspaper for the server.. We've been running the world since 1.12! We for a little while did switch to a new world but eventually came back to the OG world, as well as keeping the new via a plugin. Sorry to talk your ears off !))
Day becomes night, you are presented with a crossroads. An old cobblestone fortress lies in the distance, the rickety signs point into the horizon. "Northwind National Park & Preserve" points Northwest. You've not heard of a park laying beyond the Tundra, perhaps it was new. Nature heals itself that way.. Reclaiming itself from the past settlements of what once was. The sign pointing Eastwards provides little to no information.. "Olde Fortress" but who laid claim to their construction? The village you'd passed through was as frigid as the snow and icy landscape. They offered no help to answer your questions. What road would you take?
"A vacant throne all alone, the beloved Queen slain by a devilish hand. Royal blood stains the land. Alone the tree may not stand."
Silence fell upon the Kingdom. Their Queen was slain. Over the course of hundreds of years has the Queen ruled over the Fae, lovingly tending to their sole protector. The Tree. Only she could fully sustain it, alone the Fae she ruled over could not keep the Tree alive. Who would dare to harm a quiet kingdom? Who would dare let the Tree die, leaving the Kingdom to crumble from the inside out...
Night looms above, in front of you lies a grand manor. It's lights stay lit, yet the gardenspace seems ravaged by decay and nature..
Despite the state of disrepair, a distant roar fills your ears. Dragons. They're not near. Not yet, at least. The manor seems foolish to enter but you think nothing of it, any shelter from the drakes, and giggling fae that flitter about these woods, is enough for one to quickly disregard looking back.
As you gently step on the creaking floorboards, it becomes apparent quite quickly, that you may not be alone. The air is thick with the smell of blood and smoke. You cautiously turn the corner in the hall, the carpet runner is singed and ruined, the second floor has a massive hole, exposing the roof to the floors below. Fire. A great fire happened here, yet the manor remains in tact? Perhaps the inhabitants stopped the spread in time? But why does the stench of blood and smoke linger so? Was the fire not put out in time? There seems to be no rubble covering a corpse.. As you creep closer into the ravaged space, you notice that suddenly it as if you've.. been lifted into the air? But there are no shulkers about. What creature has caused this strange occurrance??
In an effort to prevent from floating to the high heavens, you quickly find a way to grab onto the charred floor below you. Just in time for the levitation to suddenly stop. A close shave, who knows the outcome of landing on a fire damaged floor so forcefully. As you gather your bearings however, the smell of blood has grown stronger yet. A horrid smell of blood, rot, and decaying roses fills your nose and lungs. In an attempt to freshen the air, you stumble into the library hall nearby. Large windows let the rising sun beat through.. if only they'd swing open and let some air in! Coughing and gagging, you press against the nearest windowpane trying with all your might to budge the dirtied glass. A rattling noise, equal to that of a grating piece of metal and a fork stuck in a rotating metal blade, sounds off before the window finally gives way. Fresh air at last!
Relieved to be free of the putrid odor, you wipe your eyes free of tears. "Where did that smell even come from?" You think to yourself. The dustmites from the library gently flutter in the sunbeams. The sight before you seems like an ordinary old library, nothing special.. Save for the few bats trying to sleep in the darker corners. As your turn your focus back to the window, you hear a sudden creak in the floorboards. Someone else is here, that eerie feeling of being watched returns once more. It feels as if whomever is behind you has eyes that pierce through flesh and blood with ease. Hesitant to face the entity that looms behind, you calculate the probability of how severe it would be if one were to jump from the second story window.
A woman's voice suddenly punctures the silence and fear. "Excuse me, but what are you doing in my manor?"
You turn slowly, meeting the slightly sunken eyes of a frail figure. Her appearance is alluring, yet everything about her screams "run."
"I was trying to find shelter for the night, M'lady. There was a dragon roar nearby and I assumed the master of the grounds would not mind much.. I apologise immensely for my intrusion."
"Well, you were mistaken. I am the master of this manor, and I am quite upset by a stranger wandering into my home."
"My sincerest apologies, M'lady.."
"You will refer to me as Baronness Calypso of Cynosura."
"I am deeply sorry, Baronness. I did not know this was.. Ahem. "Defiled" lands."
Baronness Calypso hissed. "You dare refer to my home as defiled??" Her expression soured at this insult, the stench grew even more apparent. The candle's wicks on the nearby table blew out in an instant. And with that, the world went black.
Good Afternoon, dear readers. While there may not be a newspaper edition this week, fear not. This week I spent a nice stroll through Green Canyon, as seen in my last update earlier in the week.. Whilst on my visit to the Canyon, I was informed of a cozy little mountain reigon come known to be as "Ocelot Cove." Sadly I did not stay too long, as I had matters elsewhere. In spite of such circumstances, I was overjoyed to spend a night here. Upon my arrival, I was met with open arms by the resident's mayoral figure known to me now as Lukas. I am sad to say there was no soup offered, and my hopes were up that I'd be welcomed by the familiar smells of soups on the stove.. Either way it does not matter. My opinions on the lack of soups on hand is trivial at best! Though Moobella would go on a tirade... I fear for those poor souls who are soupless. But I digress as always. I had not much time to talk to Lukas, as we briefly talked through the night in the Cove. From what I could gather, they seem to be a well versed individual in the realm of writing! I do love a fellow scholar. I may not know much but perhaps another time, Lukas will be able to tell their story? Only time can tell, dear readers. Only time, can tell.
Green Canyon at night, a sight that brings no fright. Only, perhaps.. Delight? The safety and comfort it brings, to wander a city without fear. The city itself brings new life at night, the sky lit ablaze with the twinkling glow of sea lanterns, glowstone, and even the lone campfire or two. Safety is felt here. Green Canyon is a second home to even those in the far reaches of Prismarine Nation. The sunrise is a sight to behold and the rain falling into the canyon villages below brings a gentle touch of drowzy comfort. This, is why many here stay, and stop to have a drink at the milk and cookies bar. Laughter amongst friends, and screams of joy erupt from the Spleef arena, and studious paper turning is heard within the Order Hall. Admins at work, and residents at play, a simple life but a enjoyable one.
