“I’ll buy a new one.” he muttered as he tore away the shirt, probably ripping some of the buttons but he was just not thinking he could take it to open each of them right now. Her hand moving against him felt too good to be patient and it really woke him up now.

Ryan let out a soft moan as she touched him. He was still a bit sleepy but he would catch on soon. “You’re wearing too much.” he muttered as he tugged on her clothes.

“Oh yeah?” Maddie muttered as she moved her fingers down to the top of his boxer shorts, gently running her finger against his skin.

“Too hot.” he nodded, letting his fingers trail on the side of her thigh as he kissed her again.

Maddie tossed his shirt behind him as she chuckled lightly. “I can do that.” She muttered as she leaned in and kissed him again, nipping at his bottom lip.

“I think you’re hot enough for the job.” He muttered, kissing back as his hands roamed over her upper body.

“Do I?” Maddie muttered against his skin as she tugged up his shirt, brushing her fingernails against his skin as she pulled her lips away from skin so she could tug off his shirt.

“Mhm.” he hummed as he felt her tug his shirt. He was still tired but this was waking him up a little as he was shirtless now. “Now you have to keep me warm, you know?”

“That’s fair.. I wouldn’t want a delivery girl to see you like this either.” Maddie moved her lips gently against his jaw, moving her lips down towards his neck. 

“You look the best in the morning.” he admitted as he closed his eyes at the feeling of her lips down her jaw to her neck.

“We can’t get someone to deliver it to us?” Maddie teased as she moved her body right up against his, putting her hands right under the hem of his shirt and pushing her hand up further.

“I wouldn’t want any delivery guy see you like this.” he smiled, feeling her body closer to his now.

“Who needs real life when things are perfect in here?” Maddie muttered, moving her hands to his waist as she wiggled herself as close to him as she could. She leaned in, kissing him a little deeper. 

“Well, if we don’t want to starve then we definitely need to get up at some point.” He chuckled a bit but he had to admit everything felt pretty perfect right now. Ryan kissed back with the same intensity, his hand resting on her hip.

“Do we though?” Maddie moved to roll over to face him, moving her face close to his as she leaned in and gave him a kiss. “Better than I’ve slept in months.” She admitted after she pulled away from him.

“Sadly real life waits for us out there but we can pretend for a little longer.” He smiled against her lips as she kissed him. He probably missed this the most. “Good. Me too.” Ryan hummed a bit against her lips, stroking some of her hair off of her face.

“It’s okay, I like being woken up like this.” Maddie said softly, letting him nuzzle against her as she brushed her fingers against his arm, wanting nothing more than to turn around and face him. She groaned lightly, shaking her head a little. “No…” She whined.

“We have to get up at some point.” he said but he could probably lay here for longer like this. Her smell, her body, how he’d miss that. He just had to put his doubts aside. She’d agreed to marry him. He couldn’t want more commitment. “Did you sleep well?”

Maddie stirred a little, turning her head to look back at him with a smile coming along her lips. “Good morning,” she whispered. She moved her hands to his arm as she moved back against him, keeping her eyes closed. “We don’t have to get up, do we?”

“Good morning. I didn’t mean to wake you.” he said and kissed her shoulder nuzzling against her hair. He loved the smell of her shampoo. “Not for another hour or so.” he muttered.

Ryan was sure he’d found a solution for his and Maddie’s problem and he felt better now, relieved even but he didn’t know if this was enough and she seemed good with it or she wouldn’t have said yes, right? Ryan smiled as he woke up and turned to see her laying next to her. He tried to get over everything and just focus on her being there with him. He reached over and wrapped his arms around her frame pulling her back against him, kissing the back of her neck hoping he didn’t wake her up.

“You think I will make it long enough to grow up in this town?” She asked, her head tilted slightly. It was practically her birthday so at least she can say she made it to 19 at this point. 

“Not with that attitude.” Honestly Ryan was annoyed hearing stuff like that. Why would everyone just give up on life instead of just living it. And there hadn’t been too many bad things happen lately, right?

As he got to hold her hand and felt her tug he hesitated hearing her words but he tugged harder and pulled her in with him. “Hope you have two.”
