Okay so Im so proud of these. These are a set of character dice for a paladin that worships “the lady of broken branches” a goddess of the wild, forgotten and broken. Silver and black are her main colours. For these I used dried leaves, mixed some dark pigment that I tried to drop into the centre of the dice, but my pride and joy are the fake webs. You can see it most clearly in the d6. It took me an age to figure out how to put fake webs in these without disrupting the resin.
Did you use blanks for these prior to the final mold? That’s the only way I’ve ever seen to put objects in dice without compromising the integrity of them, but I can’t see the borders at the edge of the faces that you can normally see that indicate blanks were used. These are incredible and I’m just so curious about them!
No blanks! just straight into the final mold. Very careful placement and a slow resin pour. The objects are very small, and Ive found you dont need to use blanks as long as you arent overfilling the mold.
