Hiatus (?)

Going through my followings/followers on this and realizing a lot of phenomenal rpers have moved on from this fandom. Seeing some of my friends haven't updated their blogs in 3+ years is.. a little heartbreaking. I hope everyone is well.

So many amazing memories with y'all. I miss getting excited to get on here, playing Shade and interacting with everyone. It's been a wonderful 11 years.

Hopefully I'll get that spark back, and maybe the fandom will see a little breath of life and we can go back to having fun and playing our silly robot dorks.

Stay safe out there y'all, and if you're an old friend checking in, send me a message and I'd love to reconnect.

“Mack, I will literally duct tape cheese to you and parade you around introducing you as ‘Mack Cheese’ if you continue on what I think you’re doing.”

“Considering that you decided to hide a certain secret from me, I can accept that threat.” She says and starts to tap her foot. “Care to explain why you’ve not told me?”

Shadow Stalker stretched out, wings fluttering idly as she took a sip of her high grade, surveying the Rec. Room. It had been oddly quiet of late.

That was not normal. The femme was patiently waiting for the peace to be disturbed, as it usually was.

yes she has elf ears on purpose the doctor fucked them up during a surgery

A jet comes screeching by and promptly jetisons several bushels of cybertronina sized grapes.

Shadow Stalker takes a few startled steps back to try her best to avoid the grapes.

Unfortunately, she still was hit by a few.

“What the frag?!”

The femme spins, instantly launching herself into the air and taking off after the jet in her own aerial mode.

Starscream increased the power to his thrusters, just enough to reach the half way point of his speed. He whooped in elation, banking hard to the left and then barrel rolling to the right. He dove, hard and fast before leveling out and zipping along the surface of the ground below. Dodging rocks, trees and any other obstacles he could along the way. He knew fully well he was being chased by another flier but felt the need to test the other and show off at the same time. And so he took to the skies once more, climbing ever higher, spinning in tight alieron rolls until he touched the very clouds themselves. Then suddenly he cut his engines and started to freefall, yelling out in pure elation as wind whipped wildly along his frame.

Shadow Stalker gave chase, but since the other flyer wasn't going full speed, she throttled back as well. A game of cat and mouse. She was game. Anything that was an excuse to get her in the air.

She dipped a rudder, banking hard to counter his moves and keep him in her sights.

The Blackbird climbed high after him, surpassing the point he cut his engines and pulling up just slightly higher. Maybe it was a taunt, maybe it wasn't. I can go higher than you.

Her engines cut out, and the femme rolled her frame once onto the cockpit side of the aircraft, nosing down and free falling.

She transformed after a few seconds of free fall, giving a whoop as she stretched her wings, tucking them close to her frame and continuing her dive. The femme spun once, stretching her arms out to feel the air rushing past.

After a few more moments she transformed back into her Blackbird mode, the ground rushing towards her. At the last possible second she pulled up, rocketing into the sky before leveling out with a lazy barrel roll and gliding along.

Shadow crouches down, popping open a panel. She takes a small screwdriver, inserting it and giving it a twist.

“You might actually like this. It’s a new blade based weapon I’m working on. Shoots ‘em like a rocket.”

If Cobra was at all surprised with her adoptive mother’s antics, she didn’t show it. Though she is even more careful. “A gun that shoots knives? I thought you weren’t supposed to bring a knife to a gun fight.”

Shadow Stalker hummed. "Theoretically, but does it count if it's a gun that shoots knives?"

She stepped back, taking the fin and setting it back on the workshop table. The femme tilted her helm. "Wanna go try it out?"

Shadow Stalker offered her a vaguely fin-like object. “I have to adjust the capacitor.”

Cobra eyed said object and the other femme warily. “I’m concerned that you even had to mention the possibility of being killed.”

Then, she shrugged.

“Why the hell not,” she said. It’s not like she had much to lose. So she very carefully takes the… thing, and holds it still as instructed.
