I also am considering buying a secondhand Nintendo Switch, but if I'm going to prioritize larger non-essential purchases, I probably need to prioritize getting a new laptop and a bridesmaid's dress for my cousin's wedding. (My cousin is fairly relaxed on dresses as long as they fit her color scheme, but why do so many of them have to be satin and/or form-fitting? Gahhh...)

A few days ago, I found out the University of South Florida has a Florida Studies program where you can earn an MA in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Florida Studies. Not entirely sure what to make of that.

This is kinda lame but...

Recently found out this fanartist for an anime I really liked as a teenager (the one that's usually summed up as "Lord of the Flies in Space" and that I have pretty mixed feelings about now), took a lot of her art offline. I get it, especially with AI companies scraping art to train their models, but I'm still a bit bummed. (Said fanartist is also a published manga author now and has even had a TV show made based on one of her works, so I get why she'd want to protect her art if AI scraping was her reason for doing so.)

I've only tried spinning on a wheel once and it ended horribly, but I'm wondering if it'd be worth it to get a membership to a place with fiber arts equipment and eventually rent one of their wheels. (Especially since I don't want to drop $500+ on a wheel at once.)
