So recently, one of my friends gave me their old phone

It's a cricket icon from 2019 and it runs Android 9 go edition with 1gb of ram and 16gb of storage (that I upgraded to 32 with a 16 GB micro SD card)

I (somehow) got music streaming working using outertune

The album art showing on the lock screen like that is my favourite in old android versions

The app immediately crashed after taking these screenshots

Just found out that android go edition can be skinned????? What?? For a version of android that's supposed to be light and small, why in the WORLD are software skins allowed?? 😭 Samsung, Huawei, Xiaomi, TCL, and more all have their skins on android go edition based phones. STOP IT. 😭

What an odd thing. Also taken the fact that the current android go edition is at android 15 and is expecting an android 16 release. For some reason I thought it was killed with android 13 lol. Apparently not.

I like android go edition.
