The Twisted Ones Theory

I’ve only read through the book once so just BEAR with me! Ehh?? Ehh?? Okay Jokes aside I was meticulously highlighting anything I thought was an odd detail. But nothing matters because (spoilers) isn’t dead and (spoilers) is but maybe (spoilers) isn’t actually dead because come on this is fnaf we’re talking about!! F A I R W A R N I N G

There will be spoilers for The Twisted Ones ahead

The books are connected to Fnaf Sister Location. For starters there is an entire underground restaurant/facility. Where underground? UNDER CHARLIE’S HOUSE! Sound familiar? Like sister location and fnaf 4 maps and security footage kinda familiar?? Second, we know William Afton (in games) had at least a daughter (Baby) and a son (Michael/Springtrap??) Henry (in books) has two kids, Sammy (rip) and Charlie (also rip???) and William Afton (in books) kills Sammy and becomes Springtrap (?? It’s a little confusing)

Well we find out in The Twisted Ones that William Afton actually helped Henry create the animatronics specifically the ones used to hold and kidnap/kill people (sound like a certain Baby to you??)

With this in mind my theory is that William killed Sammy and then told Henry he could bring Sammy back to life with the animatronics. If William could program sounds and light to make animatronics appear lifelike then I’m sure he could easily convince his long time business partner to help him build killing machines of death and destruction to bring back his son. Give Gifts. Give Life. But when Henry found out it wasn’t working he buried his horrible monstrosities, sealed his secret room, and killed himself. And then The Storm hit Hurricane. William/Springtrap has molded with his Golden Bonnie suit (only now it’s all rotted and green and sorta kinda organic and mechanic? Automatic supersonic hypnotic funky fresh??) and dubbed himself “Springtrap”. He has full control over the twisted creatures he and Henry had made and can even see through their eyes (hmm fnaf 2 night cutscenes where you’re Freddy are suddenly making a little sense?). This is how he is hunting down Charlie. Now for the second part of my theory. “ “[Charlie:] "You took him from me! Why did you take him?” Springtrap’s mismatched eyes seemed to focus for a moment, and even he seemed to have difficulty muttering his next words. “I didn’t take him. I took you.” ” Well at this point I think we can certifiably say Springtrap is 100% bonkers (although if you chilled with five different balloon boys everyday for a year you probably would be too) but he’s not wrong. He killed Sammy, of course, but he was going to “give life” to him, he just needs Charlie to open the door between life and death. And (if you’ve read the book) you know something was going on between Charlie and her supposedly “dead” twin brother.

Tl;dr

Springtrap is a murderous mofo who used his business partner and said partners kids to experiment with life and death
