took my cat to the vet today for a checkup and met an older woman with the most gorgeous cat i've ever seen while i was checking out. despite having a beautiful purebred, she was positively delighted by my little street cat and kept telling me how cute he was and we continued talking about our cats as until we reached our cars. sometimes humanity is really lovely

#idk if this is dumb but it made me happy #like she was old enough to be my mother but she treated me as a complete equal #hopecore #wholesome #people are good #cats
