What's your rose and thorn (praise and critique) for Undertale and each Deltarune chapter?

For example, for Chapter 5 my rose is that the gameplay is the best in any toby game yet, but I feel the soundtrack as a whole is the weakest compared to the other chapters.

It's interesting to get to see into the preferences of creators as it helps inform why their work is the way it is!

Oh boy, Undertale AND Deltarune? That's a lot.

Undertale PRO: Made me cry 10/10. Amazing soundtrack throughout. CON: The armor system felt half-baked at times Deltarune Chapter 1 PRO: Solid introduction to the characters and the world. CON: The dark world felt a little disjointed. Growing pains.

Deltarune Chapter 2 PRO: Extremely funny. Great character interactions. Queen. CON: Felt the backtracking the most here.

Deltarune Chapter 3 PRO: Mystery aspect felt the strongest here. New gameplay. Amazing surprise ending. CON: Pacing felt weird. Became repetitive quickly.

Deltarune Chapter 4 PRO: Strongest characterization. Favorite soundtrack. Gerson. CON: Longest chapter. Became exhausting quickly (probably on me)

Deltarune Chapter 5

PRO: Funniest chapter by far. Great new characters. Fresh new gameplay. CON: Orange soul mode feels unresponsive. Would've liked to be able to access menu in the side scroller more often.

Narinder prefers mid range combat, and so his scythe suits him best. He is a spellcaster at heart- chains and basic spells that he overloads to the extremes are his favourite. In the bishops' war days he often challenged other gods directly in their temples, leaving their minions to his siblings. He was very agile and quick, with an impressive healing capability that allowed him to sustain trully stagering amounts of damage. Narinder was good at getting from point A to B, but the path planned to get there often became a suggestion, so he learned to make stuff up on the go.
