Sunday Mornings

Tim x reader oneshot

Word count: 268. No use of YN GN reader

The early morning sun streamed in the windows, shining through the thin curtains and casting the room in a hazy light. You opened your eyes slowly, reaching up to rub the crust from the corners of your eyes.

The first thing you noticed was the space next to you empty and cold. The second thing was the smell of food coming through the cracked door. You get up, pausing for a moment when your feet hit the cold floor, before making your way towards the kitchen.

Tim stood there in front of the stove, pants slung low on his hips, hair still a mess from sleep. He glanced back as he heard your footsteps approach, smiling a little as he flipped the eggs in the pan. “Morning hon” he said, voice a little rough like he was still waking up.

“Morning love.” you said, wrapping your arms around his waist and burying your face in his shoulder. “What's cooking, good looking?” You mumble, giggling a little as you move and perch yourself on the counter next to him.

“Eggs, over easy just how you like them, got toast going and some sausage in the oven.” he said, glancing at you with a lopsided smile as you watch him. 

“You spoil me.” you say, looking up at him while he plates up your eggs and plops a piece of buttered toast next to it, already cut in triangles, before opening the oven and putting a few sausage links on the plate. “And I will continue to do so.” He says, holding out the plate and a fork towards you.
