Cruised over to the Adidas Crew Love party at the Asian Expo, which turned out to be a giant canto pop concert haha. Had some installations around, a cool art wall and some dudes on bmx bikes. Brb, gotta go brush up on my Canto Pop skills.

Checked out the Cole Haan popup store on Pottinger Street in Central with a few members of Brew&Post. It was a small launch, but hey, nothing bad about free drinks and food!

Tai Hang Fire Dragon

Finally had a chance to be back in Hong Kong for Mid Autumn Festival. (Lunar festival) Basically another reason to be festive and eat lots of food. Typically you light lanterns and eat Mooncake and have a feast with the fam. There's also the annual Fire Dragon dance in Tai Hang (Tin Hau mtr station) a tradition that's been going on for over a hundred years! Every year there's a 200 ft dragon full of incense sticks that dance around the streets of Tai Hang to drive away evil spirits and bad luck. That of course if you can fight through the mobs of people trying to see the same thing. Once the dragon approaches you hear the cheers from the crowd and you start to smell the incense/smoke. Def something cool to see, try to get to the front 'before' the dragon approaches and get out of there before the dragon finishes ;)

Le Paris

Had a little short trip to Paris last week with the lady. As expected this place is wonderful. My main thing is the Parisian lifestyle, always stylish, not giving a fug, simple foods and just eye candy of the city. A few days is definitely not enough. Can't wait to come back to explore the smaller parts of town.

Saw this dude coast up on his bike and I wanted to ask for a photo. Before I even had the chance he was already striking a pose and stared me down, so I guess I didn't need permission after all...

Then there was a huge motorcycle meetup/flash thing that happened at the round-about right outside the opera building. There had to be around 200+ bikes rallied up just revving, stopping traffic, burning rubber and making LOTS of noise.

then ANOTHER giant mob of people, this time on roller-skates/blades and cruised down the street next to Notre Dame. I guess that's what Parisians do on the weekend eh?

Had a chance to tag along with Carmen while she’s working. She’s shooting some portraits somewhere in the mid-levels (kinda like the Beverly Hills of HK) I probably shouldn’t say who she’s shooting but that person has a bomb ass pad! I sneaked in some photos and of course I’ll share them with you ;)

Hong Kong, baby!

We've all heard it before. "If not now then when" or the "If you want it, go get it". And the time is now. The moons have aligned and I made the leap to Hong Kong to move on with my life and start my next chapter doing what I want with design and photography. I'll be involved with some exciting projects with great people and sky's the limit here. I'll do my best to document my adventures and keep everyone updated with whats going on!

First of all, a big shout out to the Brew and Post crew. I've met some of you for less than 24 hours and I feel like a new member to a family. Even on the very first day I stepped ground in HK they've already taken me out to 3 events. They called this initiation - Brew and Post style. First up: Joel Morrison art opening at the Gagosian Gallery.

This is dd - (SUPERWOWOMG) we've known each other for like 15 years? We've come a big circle doing our own thing and now we're gonna be in the same boat together. Funny how things work like that!

By now I'm stupid jetlagged (flight landed at 6:20am) and the crew pulls through to go to the Lacoste LIVE party in Times Square. They transformed a little restaurant space into a pop up shop/party/bar/venue with live music from local band Chochukmo. Pretty dope vibe

Pacific Festival 2012

3rd year at Pacific festival, still doing good things to OC. It's a one day music fest that features feel good indie/dance/funk/disco for people to just dance their hearts out and have a good time. My favorite acts were Miami Horror and Bag Raiders - Spinning at sunset/magic hour and letting the good vibes flow while surrounded by beautiful ladies on the dance floor. Here are some photos until my camera ran out of batteries!
