Some cute little details I noticed for the first time in last night’s show (UK Tour) that immediately gave me fic ideas:

Aragon stroking Kit’s ponytail whilst they sit on the steps during Heart of Stone.

Cleves and Jane giggling and messing around together for a moment after Cleves says “BACK TO THE PALACE!” and struts over to her.

Bo and Kit doing the “mind blown” gesture to each other after Parr’s speech when she’s accused of trying to win the competition by making them look stupid.

Bessie sitting down and twiddling her thumbs and Maggie stood playing with her hair during the wait before SIX before immediately grinning at each other and doing a little dance.

Cleves’ target during Get Down didn’t get up and dance so she said “can’t get up? Reminds me of my ex husband!” and made the other girls laugh.

Kit only saying “Frances” rather than his full name? Never noticed an actress do that before but Sammy’s done it both times I’ve seen her now!

"What are you thinking about?"

oh, nothing. Just how in SIX the Musical, the dichotomy of the slow, sad parts and peppier, empowering parts of Catherine Parr's song perfectly reflects her character and the things she's grappling with. She wants to teach the other queens how to move on, to become more than Henry's wives and to rise together instead of pushing each other down. but she also wants to get to be sad- the other queens got to process their emotions in their own way, and she also wants a chance to grieve for what she'd lost- her freedom, her love, her individuality, and in a way, her personhood. it also reflects the way her struggles are treated. She's either ignored, as the "survived" queen, reduced to just "the one who made it out". but she's also reduced to a fighter, when really, she should be allowed to have a full story, and one that centers around her, not her relationship with Henry. her song shows us what they are all dealing with right now- learning to define themselves as something other than just a wife of King Henry VIII. It shows the conflicting emotions of wanting to grieve something, to feel the sadness that comes from losing so much, but also from wanting to move beyond that and become something with more power than just a woman defined by her relationships. so, nothing, really. I'm not thinking about anything

(21) Gabriella Boumford was a swing in the 2024-25 AUS/NZ tour and wore the teal alternate costume. She was the first to wear the teal pants variation in an Australian production. She was previously the Aragon/Cleves/Parr swing in the 6th Bliss cruise production.

Fun Fact: Gabriella is the second person (after Natalie Pilkington) to hit Swingo after originally debuting in a cruise production.

(22) Thalia Smith was a swing in the 2024-25 AUS/NZ tour and wears the orange alt costume. She’s the only swing in the cast that has not been involved in a previous production of Six. Thalia had previously performed in several touring productions as a swing or ensemble member, including Mamma Mia!, Frozen, and Beauty and the Beast.

duckie, i hope you when you think of me that one of the two things is how big of a fan i am for zoe jensen (the other thing should always be the beheaded cousins, of course)

literally seeing zoe jensen in person in september has really cemented the fact that she is my fave broadway actress (and comfort one) and like i knew in 2021 she was my fave (especially after seeing her on ther hamilton tour and whenever eliza was on stage i was watching her) -💚alex

Dude you look so happy in those photos 😭💚 I will always and forever associate Zoe Jensen with you, don’t you worry!! (And you will always be the cousin to my beheading). I also associate you with a million other things, like Achievement Hunter!
