I've seen so many RPs with similar plots/premises and I'd like to work on something that everyone wants. So, to those of you out there searching for something truly different and original, what are some kinds of RPs you would like to see?

Certainly! I just looked at your sidebar and theme overall. I think the idea that you have is a good one. But there are a few things I think should be changed. First of all, this isn’t really a change but an admin fix. If you’re going to be busy and leaving, I don’t suggest trying to open a RP with that looming in the distance. It can be seen as off-putting and not many people will be drawn to a RP where the admin is on hiatus. Secondly, your theme/graphics are a little…meh. I know there are plenty of RPHCAs out there who offer Theme Makeovers, and I myself do graphics and help as well. It doesn’t have to be over-the-top amazing, but even the most simple and basic would work for your RP. Just things that go together. Last, your plot/idea is a great one. Try working on wording it a bit better. Use what a lot of literature teachers call ‘a hook’. Something that starts the paragraph off as eye-catching and makes your reader want to read more. End it with a cliff-hanging hook or a question. Something that makes them wonder, “well what could be next?” Other than that, what you’ve got going should be great!

Hidden deep within the lush and serene forest of Mt. Blue State Park just along the edge of a beautiful lake lies the seemingly sleepy little college town of Crystal Cove, Maine. At first glance one might never believe that the area has been home to the creatures of our imagination since well before the town’s official founding.
In spite of it’s long entanglement with the likes of witches, werewolves, vampires and more, Crystal Cove has essentially remained a rather tranquil community. The type of place with white picket fences and rather too nosy neighbors who know a little too much about your personal life. Summers here are spent bathing on the lakeside beaches, while winters are either spent on the slopes or next to a cozy fire with hot chocolate in hand.
But there is only so long that a town so caught up in the affairs of the supernatural can remain peaceful. Between the gruesome quest of a power-hungry witch coming to its pinnacle, the threat of a war between werewolf packs, and the sudden arrival of a group of very old vampires, Crystal Cove is bound to receive a rude awakening. Change is coming for this sleepy little town, and nothing will ever be the same again.

Any roleplays out there hunting for co-admins?
Hi! Although I've roleplayed elsewhere for several years now, I'm very new to tumblr roleplay and was wondering if you could explain to me a few terms. Such as mun or muse. Thank you for your help, it's very much appreciated!

I’m actually a transfer-RPer myself. That being, I roleplayed many different places before coming to Tumblr. Places such as Meez, GaiaOnline, and HexRPG predominantly. And it can be very confusing switching from forums to Tumblr because they’re not the same at all.
A mun is the person writing, you, and the muse is the character. For example, I am the mun and my muse is Anna from Frozen.
You have two different types of tumblr roleplay: group roleplay and indie roleplay. Both are practically the same in how you roleplay, but different in with who.
In tumblr roleplay, both group and indie, you roleplay via paras, script, novella, one-liner, gif chats, icon chats, and gif icon chats.
Paras: Your typical roleplay type that you see in forums. Paragraphs, usually two or more, but not usually exceeding five. When people roleplay in paras, one ‘plot’ reblogged back and forth is called a thread.
Script: Now, as far as I know, this one is slightly newer. Script is just a short chat-like writing that is, plainly put, fancy. It’s spaced out and looks like this.
Novella: This is basically a longer version of a para. Still called a thread, but they’re a lot lengthier such as this.
One-Liner, Gif Chats, Icon Chats, and Gif Icon Chats: These are the most basic forms of RPing. Short interactions, usually accompanied by one of the above, or none at all, to represent what the character is doing/what their facial expressions might be.
Indie Roleplay is done solely on your own. You have your own blog, and roleplay with anyone in any indie tag{#indie rp, or any #indie (insert fandom) rp tag}. Group roleplay is where your character belongs to a certain roleplay created by a group of people, and you roleplay and follow only those people.

Remember all those cheesy Disney movies? The ones that swear your prince charming will come? Located in the heart of Philadelphia, Lovers Park is a small suburb that’s said to be absolutely magical. Day after day, two people met near the fountain in the park, without planning or realizing it. They didn’t even know each other. Yet they sat on the same bench, ate the same lunch, and felt a compelling connection to one another. Then on the one month anniversary of the meet up, the boy grabbed the girls hand and they kissed. One month later they were engaged. Two months and they were married. Three and they had children on the way. On the sixth month they moved away. They were divorced, and their children were split up. It seemed as if the park wasn’t so magical after that…
Either way, Adele and John started something that they weren’t aware of. Rumors swirled about the town, whispering and talking about the love that the two unlikely companions had found. Girls who had been hoping for a romance flocked to the fountain in droves, searching for their own prince charming. Over half of them found it, and were married within a few months, not thinking of what could happen because of the rushed relationship. No one wanted to think of the consequences—they were invincible with the magic that surrounded the fountain. The rumors spread wider, bringing more people into the park, and a boom in population as desperate lovers begged for love to choose them next.
Then the charade came tumbling down once the news of Adele and John’s divorce reached their ears. They hid away as Adele moved back in with her children, setting back down into the home that she had once called Lovers Park. But there was a different air now—everyone knew their relationship was like a ticking time bomb, and no one knew how to save it or make it last. More and more relationships began to fail, falling one by one behind the path that Adele and John had created.
But rumors, whether they’re true or false, create publicity and attraction. Lovers Park has flyers everywhere, still trying to draw the people into their myth. And so far? It’s worked.
