And yes u could say she cant controll him but she could've said the truth if she loved him so much why stay and torture the rest

Shes waiting waiting for her life to start to get out of Emily's shadow maybe become Emily herself

And then one day someone takes everything from her they take her later they take her tomorrow they take her chance

And then theres her finding joy in what she would otherwise think is useless

She gets scared

She had no laters in the time she needs them she needs them to love billy she needs them to find her self

She doesnt want to die

Luke's shot wasnt lethal to jack he survives and is rushed to the hospital

Luke sits there the officers questioning him

Billy goes to his dad angry upset horrified its still his dad

He still tells him to confess atleast for luke his kid whos going to get locked up in jail

Jack confesses he tells them everything and rots in jail

Ur friend warns you your sister is digging around and as much as you love her you have to protect urself why wont she just agree that her ex killed her why does it have to be complicated

You have a fight you argue with her

Its the last thing you do before she dies

Her childhood friend tells u the truth your friend the man you trusted killed your sister he killed her for you

You killed Emily and now its ur fault that jet is dead

Anywho I do feel so bad by the end of the book for luke hes so well written like hes obvi not a good person but still sympathetic

Also billy my beloved forever the new love of my life I feel so bad for him like he had to watch jet die twice in his arms the girl he loves killed by his dad WHO IS OUT THERE PREFFERING HIS OTHER KID OVER YOU

And God when jet found the set and was like you did it you killed me you attacked me for a second I froze cause FREAKING HOLLY WOULD DO IT I was so scared about to cry literally and then her panic dies down and she just stops cause its billy

POOR BILLY MAN

I like to imagine that in jet's final moments all the dots connected and she knew the killer

But no. Exactly what was ascertained happened and it killed me

I need Holly Jackson to write books as often as James Patterson because I just love her writing
