TheThreeCaballerosWeek2021 Day 4- Friendship
"What is friendship?"
It is considered when two or more people create an affective bond; with whom you enjoy a moment to have fun; other philosophers link it with affective exchange (as something similar to monetary exchange), although it is true that we all have some friends, these can be counted on the fingers of one hand, since it is very difficult for the human brain to establish links as strong as friendship, and that they endure throughout the days and against all adversities.
For Aristotle there are three types of friendships: those that were out of necessity, those that were for convenience (to hang out) and those that were exceptional (those that are lasting).
For some, it is difficult for them to get in touch for fear of feeling rejected by a stranger or just because of mistrust. That was what happened to Donald; In his childhood they made fun of him for his voice or for his bad temper, those were the reasons that he could not find friends, he only had his sister Della (his cousins with whom they played and chatted at his grandmother duck's house) ; They played with her at recess, after school they went on adventures with their uncle Scrooge and when they had free time they went to the beach to venture into the "unknown" while imagining that in the future they would follow in their uncle's footsteps, one touring the heavens and the other the seas; That affection they had for each other was unwavering regardless of the fights or jokes (a teaching that his beloved mother left them before her death).
Years later Donald had to follow his path, without his sister or even his uncle. On his trip he met people, some extraordinary as well as others who were not to his liking; But it never crossed his mind that he would run into such happy people, starting with a certain parrot that greeted him as if they were friends from yesteryear, despite not understanding the language he spoke that did not prevent him from taking him on a tour all of Brazil, its customs, the flirtatious ladies there, of dancing and learning about samba, in addition to its beautiful Bahia. After that trip, they came across a certain roaring rooster, confident and gunman; that he taught them the Mexican customs, their traditions, (Did I forget to mention that they also met many young ladies?); He spoke of his beautiful Jalisco because according to him, Jalisco was a word of honor!
After the whole tour, the rooster and the parrot had fun with the duck, making him angry with excessive jokes, despite this, he had fun, it was something new this kind of friendship; he never touched him one that crossed the barrier of languages and countries, obviously he still had his bad temper but he felt sure of himself for the first time after so long. They began to embark from adventure to adventure, where certain Latin birds killed each other for the love of a lady while a certain duckling did not stop thinking about how his only beloved girlfriend was. They had fun singing serenades with songs, be they Mexican, Brazilian, or even classic American rock; only to get boos and catch the blows with the "public" for receiving so many blunt objects. Besides facing the bandit golden hat; Whoever wanted to seize the silver barrels that Panchito and his friends found, it was unexpected that the duck's own bad luck has been of great help together with the parrot's destroyed umbrella to arrest and take the criminal behind bars; After being saved from certain death thanks to 313 (and the habanero peppers), they decided to go back to the railroad road to look for the barrels, when they opened them they ran into the harsh reality: they were only barrels of mercury, not silver; They would not lie at first they were disappointed but then they laughed, the best joke of the centennial. When they returned to the town where they were staying, Jose wanted to regain his job so his friends helped him by acting in the show "The Three Caballeros ride again".
Later they separated to return their lives, despite the distance this friendship was one of those lasting (as mentioned by Aristotle). They counted on each other, or as they say "where the first goes, the others always go"; they had their good times; On one of his trips, his American friend was so excited and happy that he radiated happiness to the point of being contagious; the reason, he was going to be an uncle; He didn't stop talking about how he was going to love those little ones, even without knowing them and he already loved them with so much affection; His friends were only happy at this news, and they didn't even take long to tease him or start screaming with excitement along with him. When Panchito met a lady who was of a more serene personality, every time he greeted him or chatted he could feel his friends hidden while they made fun of him with throwing fake kisses or imitating the nervous reactions that the rooster sometimes put, making him angry or make it redder than it was. Even Jose had his own samba and tourism school, his companions are They were proud of their achievement. They always counted for happy moments.
And they were even closer together in their worst moments; The mere fact that Jose was saddened by not knowing his parents was something that hurt them to see the rooster and the duck; They never liked the idea that their friend had any regrets, so they walked all night trying to cheer him up with trying to dance samba although the Mexican and the American failed as much as they could, making the Brazilian laugh out loud and also that he will sing, Panchito playing her magic umbrella like a guitar and Donald with tambourines; it was beautiful to hear them.
Or when Francisco had to return to Jalisco because his father had died; For the first time they did not see him with his typical smile, he was off, very serious and quiet all the way, it will not matter what talk the friends will try to get from him, he just wanted it all to end. Upon arriving at his home, he was received by his beloved mother, who had enlisted him a black charro suit for her funeral, which she agreed to wear; while his friends accompanied him in silence. After the funeral, everyone had retired from the grave except Panchito who only looked at the grave as if it were something interesting to see, his face was not seen because he was hiding under his hat; as soon as he decided to turn around to return to his home, he ran into his two best friends dressed as charros, having his sarapes hanging from their arms, smiling a little out of respect for the mourning he was passing through; Panchito were speechless, he could not believe it that despite everything he had someone to count on, he did not hold back any longer and began to cry while hugging them tightly, venting all the anguish and bitterness that he had held back while one hugged him and the other just I patted him on the back, they stayed like that for an hour until he calmed down and he could only thank them for being there; days later, before continuing their journey again, the three charros decided to play some songs for the Quintero González family, in honor of the patriarch of the home.
There was a time when they didn't know anything about his American friend - he was horrible; they imagined the worst when some news reported that Scrooge McDuck completely cut himself off from the world. They decided to go look for his friend at home, they had to prepare for what they would see since depending on the situation their friend needed them. They came and knocked for several minutes until the door was opened; It destroyed what they saw, his friend had dark circles, a little pale, his home (like him) was a total disaster, he was very depressed, he could not formulate a word; until both birds hugged the duck, he only sobbed in silence, after that he barely told them everything, the disappearance of his sister, how he abandoned his three children (still without hatching), how he argued reaching breaking up with his girlfriend because of the anger he had at his sister and how his sister left their children to an irresponsible, moody and unemployed good for nothing who does not even know if he lives or not, almost breaking into tears again His friends prevented him from telling him their stories, about how Jose raised his two nephews, to the point of thinking about committing suicide but with the help of his friends and girlfriend he got ahead raising them, and how Panchito raised only several cousins and nephews, showing him that Raising children no one is prepared and you can count on them. He was grateful for it, and so the three lived together caring for the eggs even after they hatched; Seeing them in that crib sleeping so peacefully made Donald fill with love inside, to the point of thinking that if something happened to them, he could not forgive them; after all they are his little nephews and he would love them as if they were his children.
They stayed for a while until the two birds decided to return to their homes while making sure not to lose contact with the duck. They were without a doubt the best friends he ever had.
Even though days, months and years had passed, they kept their friendship as if they had never been apart for so long, more than 10 years later to be exact; These three continued to behave with the same synchronicity, although at first they did not want to admit their "failures" in life, being sincere and without lies they understood that they were still the same as always; to dance, to have fun, even to cover their backs in addition to defending the children of his duck friend from a strange plant monster.
While he watched his friends chat with their children (and sometimes he listened to Launchpad only to receive scolding from his boss for being distracted) about some of his adventures, he began to analyze that he never had friends like Panchito and Jose, that friendship that exceptional people that were there in the winds and tides. Friends who would not change for anything and who make this life a more bearable trip at the same time, he was very grateful for them; for that friendship that almost resembled to the fraternal; Because of that friendship that taught him that no matter the country, the language or the years that pass, it only keeps shining because of the affection and respect that is obtained.

This was my first one shot of the TTC and is my favourite and it is my favorite because in part I did it based on an AU that I had planned and that is still pending.
The 3 Caballeros Week Day 2: México / Brasil / USA
I know I’m super late asdfghjkl , but I’m still on this xd
Panchito wears the typical clothing of Jalisco, Mexico / José is wearing that outfit from the movie when they are on Bahia, Brasil / Donald is the typical american tourist
Day 3: Paz/Guerra @the3caballerosweek
❤
Sorry about this, since not everyone stopped, I put two photos of my same drawing. This was published as the last drawing related to the week of the Three Caballeros.
The 3 Caballeros Week!
Day 4: Friendship
Since Donald, Jose and Panchito are best friends, I definitely put them together, but this time with their nephews. Yes, Panchito unfortunately has no nephews, but he has a cousin or friend who was supposed to be a fourth caballero named Miguelito Maracas and comes from Cuba. As far as I know, he is a rooster and is about 13 or 14 years old so I put them together with Donald and Jose’s nephews.
Yes, as in my previous drawing, I put Donald, Jose and Panchito in modern clothes. Jose wears a backwards cap and his Z-letter T-shirt (after his name Ze Carioca) and jeans and is mostly portrayed that way in Ze Carioca comics in Brazil. Panchito is wearing a red jeans jacket plus Strauss jeans with a sombrero. Donald wears the Hawaiian shirt he wears in the Quack Pack. Too bad it wasn’t a Quack Pack episode where caballeros would meet, and Ze Carioca comics from the 1990s era remind me a little of that series.
I added Donald’s nephews, Huey, Dewey and Louie, for a reason. Today is April 15th (that HDL have two birthdays, one is October 17th and the other is April 15th), which means today is their birthday so I put them with three cabaret and that as teenagers, as in Quack Pack, since I love that version of Donald's nephews. Also, besides them, there are Zico and Zeca, Jose's nephews, and they hug Donald's nephews together. I wish they were more common and best friends with each other in both comics and cartoons. If Donald and Jose can be best friends, so can their nephews on both sides. They are also teenagers, and I took inspiration from Ze Carioca comics. And there is Miguelito Maracas with them.
Certainly, as in the previous days, they are still together no matter how much time changes, and with them their children. Due to the rush, I didn't reach the background, and Miguelito turned out a little bad, but there will be occasions when I will draw him myself. Sorry about that. Thank you all for this week and I hope there will be another week around the Three Caballeros.
Also, for Donald's nephews, I wish them a happy birthday!
Day 2: México/Brasil/USA @the3caballerosweek
I finally did this too.
Also, please don't take this seriously, this is just a drawing.
Day 3: War / Peace
This is related to the week of the Three Caballeros related to today's topic, and that is war and peace, although this is primarily related to the war.
Yes, the Three Caballeros were created during World War II (I'm talking about those who don't know) as propaganda of the US alliance with Brazil and Mexico, which were allies and together with Great Britain, the Soviet Union, France, China, Poland, Yugoslavia and others allies took part in the fight against the Axis powers.
This is, in a way, my interpretation of a given topic where three caballeros (Donald Duck, Jose (Ze) Carioca and Panchito Pistoles) where they participate as infantry soldiers at the front in the fight against the Axis powers. Yes behind them is Baron von Sheldgoose with Lord Felldrake serving the Wehrmacht in the fight against our allies. Fortunately, the Allies defeated the Axis powers.
Panchito is in the uniform of a Mexican soldier as an infantryman, although he was supposed to be a pilot, but I will draw that another time (there is one plane named after him). I’m not sure what Mexico’s military uniforms were like so I painted it grayish. Similarly for Jose, where he is a Brazilian infantryman wearing a grayish-green uniform, but I painted his uniform gray. Of course, I drew this in part as a redraw of a picture where a Brazilian soldier lights a cigar, so I did the same for Jose Carioca. Donald Duck wears an American infantry uniform with an ordinary rifle, and he took inspiration from his classic shorts during World War II. They all serve their homeland and defend their country from aggressors and fascism, which they will certainly defeat.
This is in a way a mixture of classic shorts, World War II propaganda and the Legend of the Three Caballeros, all housed together during World War II.
Sorry for the bad background, I was in a hurry, but it's mostly about the front part. I hope you like this, of course for fans of the army and weapons and uniforms. That's it.
P.S. And let's face it, I love soldiers, but I'm not for war. I am more for peace, but I am certainly for the defense of my country.
I apologize for this, that I published two photos of the same drawing, and I also apologize for the delay, I hope it's not too late.
Although I'm already late, still considering that this week is related to the Three Caballeros, I decided to draw something new. Since I didn't do it on the first day, I decided to combine the theme of the first and second day, that is, music and the countries where they are from.
Day 1: Music
Day 2: Mexico / Brazil / USA
Jose Carioca comes from Brazil and they play music together with his friend Nestor. While Nestor plays the guitar, Ze Carioca hits the drum. Yes, I took this inspiration from recent comics about Ze Carioca, and behind them you can see Cristo Redentor, as well as other sights of Rio de Janeiro and Brazil itself. Mostly possible to play this type of music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_58J87bAW4&t=2238s
To apologize in the background for what turned out worse, I was in a hurry, sorry.
Panchito Pistoles plays Mexican guitar and he comes from Mexico, and behind him is Chichen Itza as one of Mexico’s landmarks. Yes, Panchito looks like Mariachi here, considering that he is a passionate singer, and I took a little inspiration from the movie Three Amigos. Don't worry, Panchito is not alone. Yes, a little later I added his two guns to make it look a little bad. Sorry once again. Also, probably Panchito plays this type of music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C-T100dNZXA&t=1338s
And of course, in the middle is Donald Duck. He is trained as an Indian, that is, an American native, and he partly has that origin in him. Part of his ancestors were Native Americans. Of course, Donald Duck plays the flute or flute of Native Americans near the Grand Canyon, which is one of the main natural landmarks of the United States. Of course, Donald Duck is from the United States. The Grand Canyon can be seen behind him, and he is sitting on a rock and playing the flute while meditating. Probably playing this type of music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VttZTYXMm6s
Or this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UglUjiJifA
And that's it for now, I hope to get other drawings to do in the next two days.
