I know no one is entitled to my life, but also because I share my work (which end up being highlights of my life) here, I also want to balance it out, so I don't portray an inaccurate representation of my life. You feel me? Yesterday afternoon, I was in the green room talking to Chris about home decor. It was air conditioned and I had free water (really, all the free water was a genuine a highlight of the humid weekend). This afternoon, I'm sitting at a car repair place, finding out if I'll be spending all the money I earned on a car repair. My own fault. You win some. You lose some. Hills and valleys. The last three days were hills. This afternoon is a valley. Both can prompt thankfulness if I fight for it. Yesterday was easy. I was thankful for free food and for new friends and for creating and for a beautiful airbnb and for a new city. Today is harder. I'm thankful I'm okay. I'm thankful I've been budgeting and saving so car repairs won't wreck me. They'll just set me back. I'm thankful for insurance. I'm bummed and I'm mad at myself but I'm here. This whole weekend has been surreal. The last few days didn't feel real. Today doesn't feel real. All of it is real. The highs and the lows. They're real. They're here. I'm here. As I drove home, a tow truck passed me with these words: Never give up. I can't. I won't. Today I'm thankful. @therejects for @interscope
