To me it just seems like everyone feels like they have to be someone they aren't, it's the only way they feel at home. No one knows what they want anymore, but they all know they just want to be happy. Everybody is somebody in the comfort of their own room in front of their mirror, it's the only place they feel safe. Secrets and troubles have no place in the confines of your bedroom, under your own covers nothing can touch you. After the talk we head back to the safety of her house. The fire outside burns until the embers are black and spent. It almost felt like we had the whole world; understanding is everything. Inside it was a very different scene, there was yelling and play wrestling, it almost made me feel like I wanted to sleep outside that night, I've wanted to sleep outside with her ever since.
