I sometimes can't stand other people with ADHD. It's like trying to have two criminals fully trust eachother. Sometimes it works out, sometimes someone ends up dead. I mean, other ADHD guys and gals are cool...but to hang out ALL the time? I'll pass.
I'm Sorry Followers...
if you enjoy my blog and I have neglected to update regularly. It's just...hard. You know, the life of a person with AD/HD. Not even an excuse, if you know what it's like! Hahaha. And I'm sure you all do. We've got a million things going on in our lives, and it's hard for me to maintain this blog. It will remain active and I will check in from time to time...but as for now, it's as-ta la pasta from me. I probably won't be updating any new memes or posts. But if I do, hey! Hopefully you'll like it. I'm so glad you all could relate to the things I have previously posted and I hope you keep checking up on me :') *sniffle* As for now, adhdproblems is a really stable blog that I adore. I love you all very much. Your AD/HD and all.
‘Tru Confessions’ is the most underrated Disney Channel movie ever made. Why isn’t this movie more popular? Because it’s too…controversial? This is probably the deepest Disney movie ever. Many people have a misunderstanding of Autism in this life and it upsets me. I wish more people would educate themselves on this blessing in disguise before they go off making assumptions.
My driving is like if you were to get this BRILLIANT idea to do crack before going to that class you’re running late to…but having the suddenly unexpected craving/urge for coffee, so you try to rush to Starbucks or something while still having unrealistic thoughts that you’ll get to class on time. But WAIT, there’s traffic and everyone is pissing you off because you have the patience of a 6 year old waiting for Christmas Morning to arrive. So other drivers are honking at you because you’re doing some illegal driving crap, but you’re thinking you can get away with it because you’re running late for class but just need some dang coffee first. One minute at a red light feels like seven years and you feel like you aren’t moving fast enough but you’re actually going 60 in a 35…And you feel like “I CAN MAKE IT THERE ON TIME, I CAN MAKE IT IF THESE NON-DRIVERS KNEW HOW TO FREAKIN’ DRIVE!” when in reality you’re already 23 minutes late to class, coffee-less, talking to yourself, and on crack. Then you get this OH MY GOD feeling because you realize that you didn’t even have motherfreakin’ class today! So you drive off a cliff in an attempt to die but survive, and then repeat ALL OF THAT CRAP every time you get into your car. That’s my unnecessarily long metaphor for my demon-spawn driving.

Can people with ADHD drive?
Yes they can; it's just a matter if they can drive safely.
Car accidents are the leading cause of deaths among teenagers, but four times more likely with teenagers and young adults with ADHD.
As an ADHD driver myself, I've learned to know which time of day is better for me to drive and during what circumstances.
For example, I can drive for a longer amount of time on a long open road where there are fewer lights, stops, and distractions; whereas I can only drive a short distance throughout the city. All the stoplights and stuff is torturous for me. I just end up staring at all the shiny, blinking things.
Which I assume is pretty dangerous, yes?
I read somewhere that if you take medication, it's extremely critical to be on your meds when you drive. It's like if you need glasses to see while behind-the-wheel. It's important. So, if you're new to your ADHD diagnosis and you take medication, remember that when you drive.
Off on a tangent here, but when I took my drivers test I nearly failed. I'm told that people with ADHD often fail their test over and over; Multiple times, even. The instructor had to tell me multiple times to SLOW DOWN. And I often times got confused on which way was RIGHT and which way was LEFT. So when she said, "Get over in your right lane" I often times turned on my left blinker. I made so many errors, but she felt bad for me and let me pass. I was ecstatic! But was told I needed more practice...and LOTS of it. But who cares, got my license baby!
So yeah. People with ADHD can drive. They just have to be more alert, more aware, and more cautious than anyone else on the road.
I must really practice thinking before speaking.
Most of the times people just think I'm crazy.
This is a video about how the education system has failed. It is important to note that when he talks on ADHD, he is not expressing a belief that there is no such thing so much as expressing his belief that their are people out there that throw medication at children for being children.
