DMC Color Question

I'm working on making a cross stitch pattern for a Lord of the Rings quote. I would like my colors to go from a green to a gold but I'm not sure how to go about figuring how to gradually make the color changes. (Basically I don't know what colors to pick to make it happen gracefully) Does anyone out there have any suggestions?

since it’s a scary time to be trans: refuge restrooms is an app which maps gender-neutral/single-stall restrooms. it’s community-mapped, so it’s possible you might be the first person to log the restroom locations, but hopefully it’ll help some people.

Last week when I came into work I found this magnet on my locker. No note (I wrote my name on the post-it when I was told to claim a locker back in July when I started), just the magnet. It really made my day that someone out of the 60+ people I work with recognized that I liked Captain America (not like I talk about it but I do have a Captain America lanyard) and spent their own money to buy me something. Sometimes when I'm having a rough day of training and feeling lonely I try and remember this act of kindness. Because sometimes I desperately miss my friends and family back home. Sometimes I feel really alone. But this little gesture helps.

It's just a week shy of being 3 months since I moved two states away from everyone I know and loved. This weekend my sister and her family visited me. I had to shove two months of quality time with my niece and nephews into 5 hours because I had to work. (I'm still asking why in the hell my sister visited a weekend I work but whatever) And now they're gone and I'm empty. I feel like everything is just monotonous... I know it's because I miss them but damnit, this sucks.
