♛ NEW SIMBLR ♛

Hi friends !

I'm not really a "new" simblr, actually, I am Rain, from the simblr rainypurpleskies. I already write stories, like Peter & Rebecca, and I already wrote a story about royalty soberly titled Princess Sierra. I've been thinking about opening a second blog for a while now to write a story, a royal legacy. I could have posted this story on my main blog, but I think this topic is so broad that it deserved its own blog. On this simblr therefore, I will post the story of Queen Adele I and that of her family. This is not a side blog, but like all of my stories, I don't plan on stressing myself about posting them, this will be all fun ! This story will be, like my other writings, presented in the form of a diary, so if you want to know Adele's story, I invite to open the diary, and follow the thread. I would be very happy to follow other simblrs on this blog, whether your blog talks about royalty or not, you can interact with this post so I can follow you.

I'll do my best to tell you this story, hope you will like it. <3

ADELE’S DIARY #5

November drags on. Winter drags on. I don't know why this winter seems so long, mother said that when the mourning will be over life would start again. But is mourning ever over ? It's supposedly over since the coronation, I don't know if I'm too slow or if the world is going too fast. Diego says it's nonsense, because it's we are the one making this world, it goes as fast as we want. Yet I have the impression of not moving. Oh by the way, we talked last night, and the day before yesterday too. He went for a walk earlier with Hannah and Carmen, but I couldn't go. I think his brother and even his sister are quite reassured to see that he get along well with us, after all they are leaving in two weeks. Selvadorada is the other side of the world, yet Diego is not afraid of being so far from home. It's disconcerting, he takes everything with such nonchalance, yet I have a feeling he cares. He told me about waterfalls, forests, huge cities bathed in the sun and torrential rains. He said ironically it's his favorite time of year, when he said that Carmen laughed and said it felt like some apocalypse. But, he replied that it was the natural cycle of life. "There is a time to build and a time to destroy" he said. What a strange feeling to imagine that such a place could exist on earth. It's a good exercise, it reminds me that I don't know anything at all.

A time to build, and a time to destroy. I think it should be more this way : a time to build, a time to destroy, and build again.

The royal family of Selvadorada were also invited, Crown Prince Esteban and his siblings, his Royal Highness Prince Diego and her Royal Highness Princess Carmen, attended the festival.

ADELE’S DIARY #4

As expected, there was no reason for it to go wrong. I really need to calm down. This day was great, probably one of the best since 8 months, it's crazy how for once there was nothing unforeseen. It's a shame, because I spent the day being tense for nothing ... The charity festival was very crowded this year, mother says it's normal, apparently people want to see me. I think I'm starting to take in the fact that millions of people know my face, which is very weird, actually I don't know if I understand it. I know it, but do I understand it ? There are times when reality hits me really hard, when I go somewhere and see all these people gathered, it's supposed to scare me ... there is a little bit of stress, but for some reason , there is also a very strange euphoria that creeps up in me every time. I don't know, there is something gratifying and solemn in knowing that so many people rely on me to represent them. When the doors close, I become Adele again, we all become ourselves again. In the end, it's really like Hannah is used to saying, it's a costume. Ah, by the way, I had a discussion with Prince Diego about this, and he doesn't agree. He thinks you can't separate the crown from the queen, or the king. I should have suspected it, because it's even quite obvious that he thinks that when you see the way he behaves with me and even with my mother. It's as if there was always something holding him back ... He still calls me Madame. Well, I understand that he does it for my mother, but me? He's 22 years old, I'm twenty in 2 months. Still, it looks like I'm the one who has the upper hand over him. He makes it look like it is.It is when in public, I am the queen, and he is only a prince, the second moreover. But we have a different take on it, I'm not trying to be the Queen with my family, or my friends. Is he a friend? I don't know, he'll be staying here for at least a year for his semester anyway, he's studying art history, so we often bump into each other. In any case, Hannah and Carmen are already friends, ah! They adore each other. I have a lot of pictures of the princess on this camera, well, I'm happy for Hannah.

I think it's good for her to also have a friend that is not me.

ADELE’S DIARY #3

Winter finally takes summer away, this year it lingered until mid November. It is getting cold in Britechester, and it even snowed overnight, although the snow melted this morning. With Hannah, we went back to the townhouse, even though I'm not really supposed to live there now, but anyway. Mother also stayed with us (she tooked these photos !) she seems to be less tired, but it was a good thing that she didn't come to dinner the other night. Hannah and Carmen spent an hour and a half on the phone last night, it looks like they are already best friends. God, Hannah has a lot of quality but if there is one incredible thing about her it is her ability to be loved by people. Sometimes I tell myself that I would like to be like that, to have this gift with people, but in fact I realize that I prefer having her with me, being my side, rather than dreaming of being someone else. It's almost the charity festival by the way, she's very positive about the whole thing, I'm a nervous wreck for absolutely no reason. There is no reason for this to go wrong.

ADELE’S DIARY #2

I think I am losing track of time. It looks like things are just… happening,  since the coronation. I see a lot of people, and these moments have a chimerical side that surprises me more and more every time. It’s a life tinged with beautiful colors, all in prettiness, I feel like I borrowed it from someone else. Tonight was my first official appearance after the coronation, I think I did well. Hannah was just as radiant as she was delighted, mother did not come, now this kind of task falls to me. But I’m happy that she is getting some rest, I know she’s exhausted, and I think I endure worldliness better than she does. The only thing is that Crown Prince Esteban was hoping to see her and was disappointed with it, but we’re supposed to see each other again in a week. Oh yeah, cause the Selvadorada Royals are in Britechester for the charity festival next week, and I believe they are planning to drop Prince Diego here for his studies in the process. It’s been a few years since our families have seen each other and more or less ignored, so it’s a great moment, I guess. I say  “I guess” because I feel like they don’t take it that way at all, they were all very … very relaxed. Abnormally relaxed. Or  am I unnecessarily tense ? In fact, maybe it’s because they’re used to all of this. I’m not sure yet if I deplore my mother’s attitude towards the media when I was younger, maybe I would have liked to be more prepared. I mean, it’s true, I’m 20 in a month and this is the first time I’ve been to an official dinner as … as myself. The crown princess, I mean the Queen. And I only realize now that yes, we are scrupted all the time. I’ve been told it hundreds of times, but living it is different. I was hearing whispers as soon as I was breathing in the young prince’s direction, I felt like each of my laughs made people turn around, cause yes, even laughing with my cousin becomes somehow a major event of the evening. Hannah thinks it’s, and I quote, « ridiculously funny » , I think it’s… curious. Anyway, there was at least one real pleasant surprise, Princess Carmen. I don’t know why, in my memory she was very unfriendly, but she changed or I was a capricious kid. She was adorable, and she saved me from many boring discussions. She will also be present at the festival, and her brother as well. I try not to approach him in public, that’s what my mother advised me, people talk too much.

And I do agree with that.

CANDIDS #1 - Adele’s Coronation

The coronation of Her Majesty Queen Adele I took place this Saturday, November 1st. On these first pictures we can see her going to the church accompanied by her mother, her royal highness the Queen mother Dolcie, and her aunt, her royal highness the princess Elisabeth of Windenburg. Followed by the Princess's husband, Duke Abraham of Wesstelbach, and finally their two children, the cousins of Her Majesty Queen Adele, Lady Hannah Hunt and Sir Stanley Hunt. After the coronation, the royal family made an appearance at Albury Palace.

ADELE’S DIARY #1

That's it, it's in the past.

It is midnight, and I have just returned, well I have been home for a long time but I have just returned to my room. It's strange, since this crown was placed on my head, I have the impression that this house is no longer mine. It is the Queen's. Mother says that people have not seen my insecurity, it is surely true, but I think they suspect it. This day was out of time, it all passed, but for some reason it still seems like a distant mirage. And the way I feel now is probably not the way I should. I remember very well when I walked down this alley to the church, but once inside it's like I'm out of this body. Yes, that's what happens, I go out of my body in these moments. Until yesterday it all seemed very tangible, but now ... Hannah told me that it was just a costume that I put on and take off, so it's normal that at first I feel cramped in it. But in fact, I don't feel cramped, it looks more like it's too big for me, I float. Speaking of Hannah, she stayed with me all day ! I don't think I've ever been so photographed in my life even at Mary's wedding. Hey, I sort of like looking at these pictures now, just because I really see myself in them. It's just us. It's not like a costume that I put on or take off, no matter how beautiful the costume is. Ah ... I wonder if they all know that in reality I don't really know where I'm going. Well, yes, I know where I supposedly have to go, but not really how to get there. Father, you'd say that's life, right ? And yet despite the strangeness of the situation, this all feels more like returning than leaving for something new.

INTRODUCTION  - The Albury Dynasty

Father, are people ever ready to perform such a duty ?  Was everyone else ready on this day ? Because I cannot help but noticing that there is such a difference between the great importance of the task that is mine, and the person that I appear to be. I have often wondered if when that day came people would see in me the ruler they saw in you 20 years ago. If they will perceive the same power, the same courage in this face that looks at me. I am still looking for you, but I cannot find you. Yet I feel that these walls still bear your presence, but it is a specter, a vaporous shadow. I still remember that day when I was informed of your death, it was 8 months ago, it still seems so strange to me. This mourning, it's as if it never existed, and yet the pain is there. Every day, every minute while you are not here. Is this how it goes ?I did not have time to cry for you, I would like you to forgive me, and I certainly don’t want you to think that I forget you. You are in every step and every decision I make. But from that day on, I felt the enormous weight of our name on my shoulders, the Albury dynasty is entering a new era. And I am the one who will open this door, tomorrow, November 1, 2020, I will take the oath and when the ring will be passed on my finger, I will promised loyalty to my people, I will promised to serve and honor them until my death.

Tomorrow, I will become the Queen.

PS : Father, are we Kings and Queens, or are we becoming Kings and Queens ?
