First of all, I really like the new tumblr app. It's a lot better and it's easier to use. Haha Anyway, I am currently waiting for my cousin's ballet recital to start and I can't help but feel melancholic because I used to be one of those girls on stage. Le sigh. How I wish that I got to continue.

Internship Outfit #2

Yikes. Photo quality just went down the drain.

Anyway, my cousin's yaya kept complaining of how predominantly obvious my veins are on my feet. This is all because of the numerous sports that I'd engage in when I was a kid. The heat made me want to take a bath immediately after getting home.

On the plus side, I really LOVE working in Unilab. haha. Came out of the blue, but I just had to say it.

Internship Outfit #1

The other day, my Aunt said that I should start blogging again since I'm online most of the time anyway.

Also, It's been such a long time since I've used my 1100D camera.

So I've decided to take photos of my daily (and decent) "work" clothes.

Denim shirt, Banana Republic; Floral skirt, Forever21; Picadily Flats, Anthology Shoes and random vintage necklace from my Mom.

I just recently bought a pair of flats from Anthology and they are, by far, one of the most comfortable flats I have ever had on. EVER. Not only do they have this adorable polka dot prints all over them, that make me feel like Minnie Mouse, but they are also pretty cheap for shoes that comfy. Head on to your nearest shoe store and get your first pair of comfy anthology shoes.

If you've noticed, the two photos that I posted have different colors... this is because I have a new photographer and she's the awesome-est yaya ever haha. She's been with our family since I was a kid, and now she takes care of my little cousins.

Last April 22, I was at our brand's TVC shoot.

I was so excited and I got crazy surprised when I saw Gloria Diaz in all her glory under the blazing heat, without even braking a sweat, along with her equally beautiful daughter, Isabelle Daza.

Neuorgen-E couldn't have chosen better talents for this because of the mother-daughter tandem that definitely fits perfectly in all the scenes.

Commuting = Death of Chivalry

I have always admired how men, in the books that I have read, have been such gentlemen.

How they set aside everything just so they could help a damsel in distress.

How proper they are even under stress.

But then yesterday, when I commuted (as in literally commuted, hence I did not take a cab) I was mortified by how obnoxious, rude and pushy (not to mention smelly, annoying, dirty and fuzzy) most of the men were in the BUS and the TRAIN.

On my way up into the bus, knowing that it was entirely full of people standing but had to suck it up to get home early, I dove into a crowd of people that all looked like life f***ed them up that day. Without caring, these men standing around me, would push on some old lady just so they could squeeze themselves inside, one even almost knocked over a child on his way up.

For the entire ride to the V. Mapa station, I kept scowling at any man that would go past me. Once the ride was over, I assumed that I would get into a better mood. Unfortunately, things got worse. I don't want to go into detail, but I was even more irritated at how ALL the MEN in line for the train, just cut in front of the women (even the elderly!) just so they could catch the next train.

I honestly don't understand how hard it is to do something politely or nice. I mean, I want to go home too but that doesn't mean I would shove people out of my way. It is horrible how people are losing sight of the proper ways of doing this.
