The Past is Present
“Not a part of the McCall pack per se, but close enough.” Peter answered. “He didn’t see anything but a monster.” he said honestly. “I accept that. Perhaps if he came back one day and wanted to find me, hear me out…I would let him.” He smirked, nodding. “A way to plant some roots. A place where the pack can come and relax after a long day or just to drink and vent.” he explained. “I had a start for one back in Beacon, but it never went anywhere. No real potential. Here, the clientele and demographic is perfect.” He turned towards the restaurant and found a spot, parking and moving to get out. “Try to play nice. We’re in border territory, and two of Markinson’s pack work here.”
“Yeah, from what I gathered there was never a really good relationship between the two.” he said shrugging. “If he does come back one day, then hopefully you two can work things out.” he said smiling a bit. “Join in those roots.” he said nodding to the bar. “True, and I always play nice.” he said as he walked with Peter. “Well, usually.” he said as he headed into the restaurant and grabbed a booth in the back.
He leaned back and bit and smiled as he looked at the menu. “Haven’t eaten since yesterday I’ve been so nervous.” he admitted as he looked over the menu and nodded. “Anything you plan on getting?”
