About Me!

Well, I figured that it's about time that I make one of these. I'm Ava--lover of lesser-known media that gained cult followings, creator and believer of various obscure ideas and headcanons, and to be bold, lover of adorably dorky guys (mostly fictional).

I like drawing, dress up games, music rearranging, singing, and voice acting, the last of which I plan to turn into a career one day. Some series that I like include Adventure Time, Steven Universe, Infinity Train, and most prominently, The Amazing Digital Circus.

I am proudly autistic with an incredible thirst for knowledge, and I strive to be a good person and friend both online and in real life.

My main blog is @theamazingavagrace , but ever since my special interest shifted, I've been giving this blog way more attention.

This blog is primarily safe for work, but I will occasionally make innuendos and reblog posts from blogs with an adult majority audience. Nothing too explicit, but I still thought I'd let you all know. I will also try my best to add the appropriate tags to any potentially upsetting or disturbing content. I primarily make wholesome content, but I do delve into serious subjects sometimes.

My submission for The Sketchiversary by @drundertalescum ! I suggested the name for the event, so of course I had to make something for it.

What I originally had in mind for Undertale’s 10th anniversary included more characters, and I wasn’t sure if I could get them all done in time. When I had the opportunity to make something that wouldn’t take as much effort, I took it! Two characters holding a banner is much easier to make than seven characters preparing to take a bow. However, one concept that this piece retained from my original idea is that the characters were made 10 years older than I believe they were in the game. Frisk and Flowey were kids then, and they’re young adults now.

That being said, Happy 10th to my fellow Undertale fans!

In my list of general Papyrus headcanons, I have his orientation as panromantic demisexual. But I’ve only ever shipped him with female characters. This means that my Papyrus has a preference. So he’s not pan. He’s omni!

I've decided to expand upon the audio I made for last year's LPSF Day (note that this expansion is not meant to be a submission) by having that take place before the Incomplete True Pacifist Ending and this audio take place in the path to Pacifist afterwards. After the dialogue, I'll add some additional context.

Note: In my take on Undertale, instead of continuing to pursue Frisk even after they saved Monster Kid's life, Undyne realized her mistake after MK nearly got caught in the crossfire trying to protect Frisk from her. The only reason that both the kids survived is because Papyrus stopped Undyne's attack with blue magic.

This is a picture I made for this year's Pride Month, featuring a different outfit for Papyrus from Undertale. Given his enjoyment of Mettaton's shows along with my belief that most skeleton monsters spend their formative years wearing a mix of traditionally masculine and feminine clothing, I think Papyrus would definitely wear something like this if he felt like it.

Fun fact: This outfit is based on an outfit that I actually wore to a Pride event last year!

Presenting my submission for Let Papyrus Say Fuck Day by @insanelyadd ! For this year's submission, I worked off of the prompt of Papyrus having a career. This was a prompt used for a previous year.

I like the idea of Papyrus being a psychologist because that career choice would involve a mixture of personal and professional growth. It also expands upon two canon moments in Undertale: the first being when Papyrus used reverse psychology on Undyne to get her to make friends with Frisk in the Pacifist Route, and the second being when Papyrus talked to Frisk instead of fighting them in the No Mercy Route.

Ultimately, the idea of Papyrus being a psychologist was inspired by the work of a good friend of mine.

Overall, I hope that anyone who sees this enjoys it.

I've decided to revamp my Bonetrousle remix after realizing that I paid so much attention to Papyrus' serious side that I overlooked his silly side. So, I've given it a good balance of both, in addition to adding sound effects that tell a story. From the building of Papyrus' puzzles, to various puzzles put into practice, to his Really Cool Regular Attack.

As per usual when it comes to Papyrus, I took some inspiration from Danny Elfman when putting this remix together. However, I also improvised, especially when it came to the xylophone, an instrument I've decided should be unique to Papyrus in my remixes.

That being said, I hope whoever hears this enjoys it!

HEY WAIT A FUCKING SECOND PAPYRUS' FAVORITE FOOD IS A HUMAN FOOD. MOST MONSTERS HAVE NEVER EATEN A HUMAN FOOD IN THEIR LIFE. HOW IS SOMETHING HE'S MAYBE ONLY EATEN ONCE HIS FAVORITE FOOD? WHY IS IT SEEMINGLY A SECRET????

Regarding Papyrus’ favorite food being a human food, in conjunction with the theory that Papyrus was in Deltarune before hopping timelines to Undertale, my theory is that Papyrus’ memories of eating dinosaur egg oatmeal when he was in the Deltarune timeline are some of the few memories he looks back on fondly. I say this because in the 2024 Papyrus Q&A, he lets Sans end the questionnaire early instead of giving a clear answer when asked about his life before moving to Snowdin. This could suggest that he doesn’t want to remember most of his life before Snowdin. And assuming that the first Papyrus Q&A takes place after the monsters have been integrated into the Surface in the Undertale timeline, it’s possible that Papyrus revisited dinosaur egg oatmeal as a test to see if he’d still like it after some time. And he did! But because he’d be afraid that the people he knows who haven’t been in the Deltarune timeline would have a hard time understanding something that complicated, combined with the fear of Sans being uneasy about it, very few people know that this isn’t the first time Papyrus has eaten dinosaur egg oatmeal.

Addendum: You may wonder how a skeleton monster could eat in a world where magic and reality are separate. My theory is that monsters in Deltarune do have magic in the Light World, but only enough to allow them to function like humans. Magic attacks and defenses would be restricted to the Dark World.

Introducing my new and improved design and story for Papyrus! I'd previously made one of both on my DeviantArt but had to make a hasty edit to the story after making a realization. Let me explain.

I used to think that Papyrus wouldn't know about the risks of creating too many Dark Fountains. That is, until someone said that Knight Papyrus not knowing any better contributed to the misconception that Papyrus is completely naive. Now, I believe that Papyrus is fully aware of the risks of creating too many Dark Fountains but does it anyway because there's a chance that he could help someone from it. Just like how he chooses to spare Frisk in the No Mercy Route of Undertale.

I still believe that Papyrus would come to the Dark World in hopes of finding Dess, but now I'm unsure whether or not I should have him try to free the secret bosses as well. But one change I've made is that making friends would no longer be a top priority for Papyrus. He'd only befriend a Darkner if he believed that they could provide useful information. And when given the knowledge that creating too many Dark Fountains had the risk of breaking the bond between dreams and reality, Papyrus would only double down on his efforts to rescue Dess, regardless of the risks. And he’ll fight anyone who he deems as a hindrance to his quest.

Let it be known that if Papyrus fails to make a proper appearance in Deltarune, or has a small role with little impact, I will gladly reject the canon Deltarune in favor of my own vision of it. (FYI: My rule of thumb is that my UTDR fan works should be fairly close to canon with some artistic license. But they will, more often than not, be Papyrus-centric.)

My one complaint is that I made his feet smaller than they are in-game.
