Chord frowned as his eyes trailed down to her knee. “Amber” he said softly as she softly set her aside. “Why?” he said as she started inspecting it making sure it wasn’t too bad. “You can’t overwork yourself like that. I don’t want to see you seriously get hurt” he said as he looked into her eyes. He knew she was doing this because of the fans and his heart melt just thinking how much she cared but it also scared him that one day she would push herself too much.

"I know, but I can't let people down like that chord,I need to do this and Derek is saying I should keep going because I really don't want to end up kicked out.." she sighed and looked down at the floor. "I don't want to be the person who quits" She said looking down at her knee. "It's not like it can get any worse right?" she said trying to lift the mood. As much as it hurt her, she didn't want to give up and she didn't want Chord to worry about her. She knew she could do it, she just wanted to prove to everyone else that she could.

Chord laughed as she jumped on him, before he placed his hands on her side. “Well if I’m cute then you’re just down right adorable” he grinned. It felt nice to be with her again, it almost made him wonder what had happened before but he didn’t allow himself to think about then. It was now what mattered.

She shook her head and laughed moving off of him smiling widely. "I love you." She said softly before cuddling into him. "I think you should not let me get out of bed anymore. because my knee is killing me." She sighed and pointed to her knee which was swollen and bruised. She didn't know if he knew it was that bad, but it was honestly the most painful thing in the world.

Chord smiled softly as he twisted his body to meet with hers. “Yeah… I guess things just got a little complicated along the way” he said with a shrug. He laid on his back and stared at the ceiling. “we were younger… we didn’t know better” he answered before he looked back at her. “Just because things are a little more complicated now doesn’t mean they are not worth it. Just means we gotta be smarter about it, which is what we are doing” he said.

She nodded her head and looked down before she smirked and rolled on top on him pinning him down. "HA! I GOT YOU." She said laughing as she leaned down and gently kissed his lips pulling her hair out of the bun. "You're cute!"
