As much as I understand (being transgender myself) how Kendrick Lamar’s use of the F slur can be criticized I really think people are deciding to be mad just because.

Y’all ignore how the whole song is about someone just beginning to grow out of their ignorance. It shows how someone can be raised not hating people in the lgbt+ community but still participating in speech and actions that are harmful because it’s normalized. This person is learning that it’s not the intent but the impact of their words that matter.

May 4, 2022 -- Comedian Dave Chappelle was attacked on stage while performing at the Hollywood Bowl late last night by a man who ran onto the stage and bumrushed Chappelle knocking him down. The man was tackled by security as he ran away and was taken to the hospital with a broken arm.

Afterwards, Chris Rock who had performed earlier came out on stage and asked, "Was that Will Smith?"
