🤔 What are your goals for this week? • 🙋🏻‍♀️ Mine is to finish my personal statements for my fellowship application that’s due end of August, while enjoying my parents’ pool during this heatwave.

monday; the start of the second week of my senior year. i decided to start the 100 days of productivity to keep accountable + motivated.

today i completed an economics practice exam questions sheet [2 hours] after school which is due thursday next week. i’d only received it this morning. yay, no procrastinating!

i also annotated a linguistics transcript sheet [20 min] which is due this wednesday. as of tonight, i have no assigned homework left!

I apply to graduate schools this upcoming semester. I only have 6 classes remaining. I’m scared but also very proud of how far I’ve come.

I mostly lurked around studyblr even before opening my blog but one day I just opened it. It’s mainly to motivate myself and others.

1. What are you doing right now?

Cleaning up my room. :) Getting rid of unnecessary stuff, re-arranging the rest.

2. What’s your fav hobby?

Reading books probably? Even if I don’t feel like getting involved into other hobbies at given moment, I almost always want to read something.

3. Do you have any pets?

Yes, two lovely cats, a Russian Blue named Dasha and a Ragdoll named Jasper (which is technically my sister’s cat, but since we live together, I can include him).

4. Have you read any good books recently? What are they about?

I’m currently reading C. R. Zafón’s The Labyrinth of the Spirits, which is fourth and the last book of The Cemetery of Forgotten Books series. I’ve also read All That Remains: A life in Death by Sue Black, which is a brilliant non-fiction book about forensic anthropology that I recommend to anyone interested in this and similar subjects.

5. How do you take your tea or coffee?

Tea - usually black, with lots of lemon juice and no sugar; I need to have a specific mood for other kinds of tea. ;) Coffee - with a splash of milk and half a teaspoon of sugar, obligatory in the morning and after dinner.

6. What’s your favourite colour?

Any shade of grey. Also, recently any “autumn” color - mustard, chocolate brown, moss green, rusty orange.

7. What was the last film you watched?

Phew, I don’t remember, honestly... I haven’t seen a movie in ages. I take a wild guess of that being The Imitation Game back in February, when I visited my friend, but after that I got involved with Vikings, the TV series.

8. Does pineapple go on pizza?

In my opinion no, but it’s because I don’t like pineapple in general. ;)

9. What are you most looking forward to?

Right now it is a trip to the mountains with my friends, who live in another city and who I only see once a year.

10. Do you have lots of houseplants?

Not yet, but I aspire to. Right now I’ve got an aloe plant, an echeveria and two cacti - zygocactus and your regular ball-shaped cactus (I don’t know its exact name, sorry! 🙈)
