It is so hard to love yourself when you think about what others think of you. But just because they don't count your progress as growth doesn't mean it isn't. One of the most difficult things to understand is to God your willingness is enough. And you are enough because He loves you. So you never have to look for another half just to show your enough.

Not to defend Donald Trump or George W…but these photos are both deceptive. The Trump photo was taken right before the National Anthem started…(x)

The George Bush photo was taken right after the National Anthem ended and Bush took his hand down first. (x)

The outrage and backlash against Gabby Douglas not putting her hand over her heart was absolutely overblown and unwarranted, the original photos in this post don’t prove that. side note, I found these photos doing research for my Nightly Show segment on Gabby and this bullshit national anthem “controversy” Never in a million years did I anticipate sticking up for these assholes but…here we are.

Your abuser’s past trauma and mental health problems do not excuse their treatment of you. The validity of both your experiences are not mutually exclusive. Abuse doesn’t take place inside a vacuum, and the shit they went through/are going through does not minimize the pain they’ve caused you.

Fairy of Air

Cradled by the winds and caregiver for winged creatures, the Fairy of Air glides effortlessly. The train of her gown always flutters gently skyward, never touching the ground. Her golden jewelry is made of sun rays and the feathers adorning her are gifts from the birds she protects.

Should fairies have antennae? Maybe I should have added some. I thought about it. Lately I’ve been rekindling my old passion for the fantasy genre and the sky - especially at dusk. When I was little my dearest wish was to be able to take to the sky like Peter Pan and play among the clouds.
